I was in there with my mom, she does not speak any English, I was having a hard time translating so I was using Google translate. The manager( I believe her name is missy) whom at the time was arguing with her husband or boyfriend at the time came over to me and told my mom if she can't understand English we can leave.

The bartender was so informational. She was amazing and sweet. Definitely would recommend bar because they offer so much!. I am definitely coming back. Cece is so accommodating and absolutely beautiful to look at. She’s a fantastic!!!!

So I'm on vacation in Galveston Texas and I was trying to see where the locals like to go and we came across this bar corner pocket Bar it was amazing ...Joe red was the bartender and he was friendly cool sassy and energetic and happy go lucky....The drinks were tasty made with love and reasonable pricing....they also have pool table where you can play against friends or whomever...I love the atmosphere it was chill and met some incredible people that night......The music was fantastic they played a variety mix... I recommend if your traveling to Texas like I did and want to have a good time to go to the Corner pocket Bar ..Thanks for the hospitality and the incredible time Joe Red.....

Came in and had 2 beers. I had the Corner Pocket Club. Slap your grandma good. These sandwiches did not play. Super large! My friend and I shared the sandwich because it was so big.

Bartender was personable and very friendly. We're definitely going back to this "neighborhood" bar. They do have a limited menu of sandwiches there with chips... although we didn't have one they still looked good.
Saying that our bartender Missy was amazing, is an understatement. There are not enough words for me to describe my experience so I’ll sum it up with “The best day EVER”. Drinks? Great! Service? Above and beyond! Sammiches? Delightful! Shut up and take my money!
