The atmosphere is always good at Denny's. You won't be disappointed. HOWEVER,... on this visit my food was served cold and my service REALLY SUCKED! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you go during the day (especially during breakfast time). But this visit was a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!

Last weekend my family and I visited this place. Everything was fine at first, it was normal to be waiting for a table. But when they moved us to the table, chaos began. The person who served us was not friendly. We asked him for drinks and it turns out that he brought us others because there was no one we ordered. So without consulting us he gave us what he wanted. We didn't do drama and ok we drank that. When it came to ordering it took too long and when it finally arrived my plate was missing so my children started eating. The waiter never left cutlery and when we asked for it he simply ignored us. My children ate with their hands. After a while my husband asked for cutlery again and brought him a plastic spoon. So my husband asked for cutlery that they usually give there because he couldn't cut the meat with a plastic spoon. By this time they still didn't have my plate on the table and the waiter never brought AAA cutlery but he kept the COUNT!!! My annoyed husband told him my plate was still missing and the waiter just laughed and left. When my plate finally arrived again the waiter came over to say who had seated us in that place and if we just got in there!!! Since we had all waited for our turn and one of the managers had seated us at that table. I don't know, I'm upset, they shouldn't have treated us like that. We left the place and I'm sure I won't go back there.

The wait staff was great but this sampler was garbage.the chicken pieces were over done. The tiny bit of fries I got was depressingly small and it tastes like they haven't changed the fryer oil. Depressing.

If there was a zero, they'd get that. Waited forever for a group of only 5. Seems if you have a party of more than 4 they can't comprehend. They were seating people with only 2 in the area that would hold more than 4 ridiculous!

If I could give this place a Negative 10 star review I would .Between the almost hour wait just for our food at almost 10 o clock at night , the obnoxious cooks who were dropping cuss word after cuss word and the trap music that the were blaring was way beyond the point of ridiculous. The manager on staff was right along with them and not even attempting to help her poor waitresses who were obviously struggling with just the few tables that were there .,

To Whomever It May Concern, I Visited Your Galveston Location Today & As I Walked In I Noticed No One Was At The Counter. After Standing There A Few Minutes An Employee Who I Would Assume Was The Manager Looked At My Family & I & Said We’ll Be Right With You & Walked Away.. A Few More Minutes Goes By & My Family & I Decided We Would Just Sit Ourselves. After Sitting Down Approximately 10mins After Someone Walked In Regarding A Job & Several People Chimed In On The Person There For A Job & It Was Just A Lot Going On… A African American Lady With A Low Cut Fade Started Hollering Saying In I Qoute “ We Are Not Hiring Her, We Interviewed Her & She Was Upset Because I Didn’t Allow Her To Go To The Restroom.” Anyways It Was Very Unnecessary & Uncalled For. You Guys Were Very Busy & To Be Out Right Disrespectful & Loud With 60+ Guest Is Insane. If That Lady Has Any Management Say So In Your Establishment I Will NEVER Visit Again. In Fact I Think Her Job Should Be Under Evaluation!

It's very hot at times depending on which side of the restaurant you said and the side that cool is always blocked off, and power is always excuse for slow service. Her food and the service is good but it takes pretty long time to get it.
