The food was out of this world good! The Bam Bam Shrimp was so good we could have just kept eating it! Our server, Misty, was crazy and so nice. A bit on the expensive side but well worth it!

Great food. A little expensive, but free parking, on the seawall, no wait, great service and atmosphere. Fish and chips and giant coconut shrimp were great.

I would have given this new restaurant in Galveston 10 stars if I could! I highly recommend the redneck egg rolls as an appetizer or main dish. My husband had the godfather and I had the Cajun chicken Alfredo! Everything was well beyond our expectations! It is a little pricey, but you definitely get your money's worth in quantity and quality! Also, try the cerveza margarita! Will not disappoint!Parking: 60+ parking spotsWheelchair accessibility: Yes!

Sarah was a kind, funny, and attentive server. They made us feel welcomed, answered all our questions, and made excellent recommendations. The space was also a delight, every wall had a funny sign. The food was even better. Definitely do the corn casserole!

April 27,2024Again .... Amazing food. And thank you again Quentin for top notch service. Although it was busy today also, it was not overly loud. My margarita flight was very good, took off and landed, right on time, and I will have another next time. And now I want to buy a t/shirt. We will be back, again.March 31,2024 This is a pretty darn good burger place, even though it’s a little on the expensive side. We shared a buffalo crispy chicken burger and a plate of red neck egg rolls as part of our meal. The chicken burger was crispy on the outside and so tender and moist on the inside and the egg rolls are not the norm. Both were very tasty. Our server was attentive and offered helpful suggestions. The restaurant is large and open and inviting. As a final note, while my Moscow mule was delicious, I should have ordered a flight of margaritas (I will do when we come back).

Food was really good and service was exceptional. The atmosphere in this place is so much fun. The "Tombstone" theme is seen throughout the restaurant. We had wings, fries, tots, hamburger, and chicken sandwich. All good hot and tasty!

Food was average. The glamor here is the name & atmosphere. They are super busy so the service is super slow too.

The food was very good. I got the prime rib dip. I saw a couple of the desserts they were huge and looked good. They were out of the cheesecake.

We drove to Galveston with the express purpose of having lunch at Doc Holiday's Roadhouse, after seeing ads and reviews. The resturant is very cool, decorated in full western motif. Our steak meal was okay. The steak was a little more marbled than we like but it was okay. The wait staff was cordial. Maybe a little pricey for the value of the meal, but great western atmosphere.

This will be my first time ever reviewing a restaurant from which I've had neither food nor drink. What I did experience was clumsy, ham-handed attempts to justify a "policy" that they had no reason to have. It was embarrassing for my husband and me, as Galvestonians, to have encouraged a friend who came all the way from Tomball to lunch here, only to be asked to leave. Our friend has an emotional support animal, not a service animal, with two forms of documentation confirming the legitimacy of her pet's status. Her support animal is a male Sphynx cat and he accompanies her most places she goes. He has had his support status for a number of years and has been to many venues in the Greater Houston area, without incident. When he goes into restaurants, he is brought in a buggy where he stays. To make sure that the staff at Doc Holliday's knew about her support animal, my friend called the restaurant to explain about her cat and was told his presence in the restaurant would not be a problem. My husband arrived before my friend and I did, so he'd gotten us a table and himself a margarita for the wait. When we entered the restaurant with the cat in his buggy, we were ushered to the table with no comment from the hostess about the cat. But when our server greeted us, she questioned my friend about the cat and stated that she didn't believe the restaurant allowed any animals other than service animals. My friend explained that cats can't be service animals, but that she had called the restaurant to confirm that her emotional support animal would be allowed in. The server, looking dubious, said that she'd have to get her manager. When the manager arrived, he stated that Doc Holliday's could only allow service animals and since the cat was an emotional support animal, he could not be allowed to stay inside. When my friend mentioned that she'd called to confirm that her cat would be allowed in, he fake smiled and glossed over that because she hadn't gotten the name of the person she'd spoken to. During the exchanges, the cat sat quietly in his buggy. My friend pointed out that since we were already seated and her cat was not behaving in a disruptive manner that would lessen other restaurant patron's dining experience, couldn't we go ahead and have our lunch. The manager, with more fake smiling and protestations that it was out of his hands, and "Hey, I'm an animal lover too!" instead insisted that we would have to leave. We did. I'm sure the manager felt that he'd handled things as best he could by generously comping my husband for the poorly made, overly sweet margarita. I usually give restaurants that disappoint a second, sometimes even a third chance, however, there is no way I'll ever go to Doc Holliday's again. The happy ending to this saga, though, is the delicious lunch we had at Mario's Italian Restaurant on Seawall. The food and service are always outstanding, and both the staff and patrons were delighted to have Dragon, the emotional support animal, as a guest. And for the record, he behaved perfectly, far better than some of the loud, rude adults or screaming, unruly children I've encountered when dining out.
