First time eating there today since I moved to the island last year. Wow their food is quality. Not only was the lentil burger amazing but there was a hiccup with my order , and their amazing customer service fixed the issue . I was given a free cookie (which happened to be the best cookie I have ever had ) and multiple apologies . Respectful establishment , and delicious food , what more do you want ?
I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant - from the friendliness of the staff to the amazing home cooked meals and the best Ispy establishment around, any time we are in Galveston, we will make a stop at Gypsy Joynt for either a sit down meal with our 3 kids or take out food. I wish we would have thought to take photos, but we were enjoying the food and playing “I spy” so much that we just enjoyed being present for the conversation, food and family time. We...
Different type of atmosphere but nice! Family run restaurant with great tasting food. We stopped in for breakfast after trying to get seated at Waffle House. The food was much better! Slightly higher in cost, but well worth it. The cinnamon roll was very good! We were so full, we skipped lunch. We had breakfast.
