Amazing service!! Maggie and Sara served me today and they did an amazing job. I felt so welcome in the place and I will definitely be going back for another experience! Recommending this place to all of my friends and family. The OREO shake was my choice and it was perfection in my mouth. Such a groovy place, def try it out!!

Galveston local here, just warning all visitors to be careful what local business you come to support. While supporting the local economy is incredibly important and appreciated, look out for business like this. I urge you to pay close attention and listen to the local gossip! Not everything is what it seems behind closed doors...This one I hear a particularly LARGE amount of gossip about how horribly the staff is treated. Pretty sure these wealthy owners are a little too caught up in whatever it is rich people do hehe ;)

I always love Mikey's,but last nite something was off 2hours til close an miss young lady had a lil chip on her shoulder,but I just took it with a grin and bared it,but next time I hope she has that beautiful smile back on,just remember everyone has bad days,an that's ok!! To an extent!!the I ecream is Great always!!!!

I was super impressed with working with Hey Mikey's.... Wanting to send a sweet treat to The Animal Clinic in Galveston, I called and spoke with Kristin, and she listened carefully to what I wanted and she came up with an AWESOME idea of having an ice cream sundae ? bar for the staff.... Hey Mikey's created a Tasty and FUN experience for some well deserved staff that serve the great community of Galveston. Run, don't walk.... Get your Ice Cream Scream today!!!

The ice cream was absolutely delicious and amazing!! But can’t leave 5 stars due to an unprofessional employee. There was a very long line of people that we were waiting in and only one employee was serving us when a group of teenage girls decided to cut the line and one of them went behind the counter and started to serve all her friends instead of helping her co worker, the other employee served the entire line herself just fine, but that is unacceptable, great ice cream but they have got to train their employees better.

Good ice cream spot in the downtown area near a bunch of other shops and restaurants! Employees are super kind and patient when trying out different flavors! It's a small, casual space with very limited indoor seating. Tried to strawberry flavor, which was light yet creamy!

Little ice cream shop in the heart of downtown! Got a huge scoop of chocolate ice cream on a waffle cone! The workers were so nice and friendly! Also energetic. The space is simple, clean, and rather small!

I've come here quite a few times and each time my ice cream tastes good. Their Nutella flavor specifically is the one I always opt to try. The last time I went I wanted a brownie sundae, but unfortunately they were out of brownies. The service is good, but the ambiance is just okay. It's also worthy of mentioning that I attempted to come here 2x in the past 2 weeks, and both times this place has been closed despite saying it was open on Google. No mention of updated hours on Instagram either. If they're going to be closed during normal business hours, they should really post somewhere online that they're not going to be open. Luckily, I live 2 mins away, but I would be even more upset if I drove here from the west side of the island just to find out they were closed.
Instead of having a bridal and groom cake we did cake and ice cream for dessert at our wedding reception and Hey Mikey's Ice Cream delivered! They catered my wedding reception and it was an absolute hit! We worked with Kristin and she was so kind and met all our preferences and was very good at communicating. I had actually never been to Hey Mikey's before our wedding but I was delighted by their delicious and unique ice cream flavors! Although we don't live in Galveston we will certainly make it a destination when we visit!

I’m not sure what’s going on here, but this is the second time I’ve been here during a weekday when they said it was open on Google and I get there and lo and behold it’s closed. They need to update their hours online if they’re going to be closed throughout the week from now on.

The ice cream was pretty good but the staff there freaked me and my boyfriend out. They were very silent and kept making very intense eye contact with us. We could tell they definitely did not want us there and it weirded us out a whole lot. Very strange and weird and would probably not recommend unless you want to interact with soulless skinwalkers that Probably don’t like you or your presence
