BEWARE OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT!I recommend both patrons & professionals alike to AVOID THIS VENUE at all costs if you’re not willing to play for free or pay twice what you should for drinks. My husband played here on Fri. 7/22/22 & was payed by check at the end of the gig. Being a a weekend, he paid the rest of the band out of pocket & deposited the check into our account that Mon. By Wed. the check came back returned & in addition to the $450.00 still due to him we also incurred over $100.00 in returned check fees.This was all a result of the owner (John Freeman’s) unprofessionalism & poor business management. The owner out right misled, lied to & ultimately avoided my husbands attempts to rectify the situation for 2 weeks. It wasn’t until we began taking legal action that Mr. Freeman make good w/ his payment meeting my husband w/$450.00. If this wasn’t bad enough that same night I was charged 2X’s for drinks on the card I used to hold an open tab w/though I told them I was paying w/cash in the end. It then took several days for the double charges on my card to fall off. The bartenders were unprofessional & unfriendly. I’m hoping that at the very least this review will either encourage other people to take action when treated this way, or save someone else the hassle later down the line. Not only will we NEVER step foot back in this bar again but we will also continue to warn anyone we know of these shady operations.

The lady who works here is very rude and has awful customer service. I asked what beers they had and she responded, “oh you’re gonna be one of those people.” Settled for a mixed drink (well whiskey) and was shocked at the price. They also have an area on the bar they literally YELL at you to keep clear even though there were maybe 4 people in there on a Saturday around 11:15am. Yet as soon as their friends came in they occupied that spot and didn’t get yelled at. I would recommend anywhere else but this place.

From an rude old bartender to a drunk bar owner, the place is filthy. Constantly out of everything, kitchen is a joke. Roach’s everywhere. It’s taken a major fall and dive in the wrong direction. Minors being served and drug activity, bar needs to be shut down by health department and TABC.

Our server told us the cook wasn't at work yet so she gave us a menu from next door. She ordered the food and went picked it up and delivered it to us. Awesome server and food was delicious. This was during Dickens so it was quite busy. Awesome experience.

The men's bathroom is disgusting. The smell makes my eyes water. I almost got sick from the smell. And it's a smell that has been there for awhile. Entertainment was awesome. Clean the bathroom!
