The atmosphere was very unique. It reminds me of a dive tiki bar, but fantastic, nevertheless. I may have had the best catfish of my life, and the service was outstanding. Clarissa was our food server, and she was amazingly kind in attendant. As a tourist to stumble, upon a place, like this is rather unique. This certainly adds to the mystique and the wonder that is Galveston Island on the Strand

Such a fun place... Our server was fantastic.. answered all of our questions and offered some great suggestions. Fun, kitschy place with excellent seafood as you'd expect in Galveston. Drinks were great and strong.

You will absolutely not believe how gigantic the catfish filets are. The breading on them was great, the fish was cooked perfectly, good tartar sauce, just a great meal. You'll probably want to share it, though, because it's the size of your head.

We were seated, and waited over 10 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge we were there. By that time, we were ready to order food and drinks. Ordered food, and a beer, beer never came so I had to flag down the waitress and ask. Finally got a beer. Food came pretty quick, and wasn’t bad at all. The place is not the cleanest, and service definitely needs improvement. There were some type of nats or something doing around.
Overpriced, mediocre food served in a filthy restaurant. When we sat down I didn't realize how dirty the place was, over the course of our meal I realized that everywhere I looked there was dirt, dust, and disrepair. The calamari was burnt to a rubber texture, the drinks were all booze and no flavor, and our meals were "meh" at best. Our server was decent, that's about all that was positive. This place needs a deep clean and a line cook training class asap.

Took myself and 4 teenage boys from il there after a fishing trip with outcast charter. They prepared our fish for us and we had a sampler platter with 4 family sides. It was delicious and our service was great. The atmosphere at this restaurant was very nice. Cant wait to go again.
