Fantastic views and great food. We loved taking a walk on the pier while waiting for our table which didn’t take long at all. The ahi tuna and shrimp tostadas were delicious and the fish tacos were fresh and flavorful. Enjoyable experience all around. A great option if you’re looking for a fun spot to take in views of the water.
We waited over an hour for a table. The dining area is small, much smaller than you would expect. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, and when asked for a recommendation he knew exactly where to point us. Our food came quickly and it was fresh and hot. All of the items we ordered were good, no regrets. The bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer was delicious, the chicken sandwich was great, and the shrimp and oyster po boy was pretty good. No complaints here at all!
We were staying just down the street and thought it would be fun to try Jimmys. Unique local eateries where you get a feel for the community. Being on the pier, you are as close to the water as you can be. They had a nice selection local craft beers. I tried the Hazy which was quite good, the Margherita was a little heavy on the Tequila, so it was a bit overpowering. For food, the Pier Special is a winner!
