Ate there today. Some of the best BBQ out there. Only open for a few hours a day. MAKE THE TIME. I’m glad we did.

Very good! I asked the staff if the BBQ sauce had soy sauce in it, and they don’t. I am gluten free and had no issues with any of the food I had — the brisket, sausage (very sage-forward), the beans (spicier than I anticipated, but not in a bad way), potato salad, and BBQ sauce (very vinegary and delicious). You can park on the street, and there are a few parking spots on the side. My wife and I got two-meat plates and we made them two meals per plate, easy.

I've been to a lot of BBQ restaurants, but Koop's is definitely the best of best. There's no end to the flavors, just amazing tender meats. Highly recommended

We have tried plates and sandwiches. They are both very tasty. Potato salad is our favorite side.

We had Koop’s for the 1st time today. I highly recommend! Their food is outstanding and they’re no words for how good the Turkey tastes. We will be going back

Really good food, especially the food is cheaper than standard BBQ. Also the service is incredible, there is always people asking if the food is good. Although the shop looks old, but is intimidating.

Koops BBQ was absolutely delicious! I’ve been to many different BBQ restaurants, and this is definitely one of the top spots I’ve ever been to. The brisket gumbo was packed with flavor and the cowboy baked beans were some of the best I’ve ever had. The meats were perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and everything tasted fresh. On top of that, the staff was super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. If you’re a BBQ lover, Koops is a must-try!

As a Texan living in Wisconsin, this BBQ is always living rent free in my head. The BBQ is spot on and brings me right back home. Sweet tea is excellent. Service is amazing. Keep doing what you do!!!

The brisket and sausage is mouthwatering!!! LOVED how moist the brisket is. The potato salad is good but I am too picky. The coleslaw would be sooo much better if cut a bit smaller, but otherwise its good. The service was fast once ordered. The place is quaint definitely worth the search for street parking. Definitely going back!

Back for our 3rd go. We drive 30 minutes when we have a craving for bbq. Everyone is so friendly. Make you feel like family. And trust me when I say no matter what you get, Koop’s NEVER disappoints!

Awesome place to grab lunch! Very friendly staff to make it a great experience. They recommended the brisket and it was dead on. So so good! The prices aren't bad at all especially with the big portions you get. Plenty for a snack later tonight.
