Koop’s has the absolute BEST BBQ and THE FRIENDLIEST STAFF! It’s such a joy to get to see them! Plus their prices are amazing!!! I can’t recommend Koop’s highly enough!!!

We stopped here for lunch today based on excellent reviews. We had pulled pork sandwich with side of mac & cheese and brisket sandwich & potato salad side. This was the best bbq we have ever eaten! Both were cooked perfectly! Some tender & flavorful!. The 2 sides were also delicious. Portions were large. Service was excellent! What a great place to eat! Highly recommend it!!

First all hands down the best BBQ spot in Galveston, TX. My wife and I ordered the sampler plate. Smoked turkey was sweet and amazing. Chicken smoked to perfection, pulled pork was very moist combined with the vinegar onions and peppers. God himself must have smoked these ribs along with the homemade sausages. That covers the meats. The dirty rice was the best I have ever had along with the pinto beans both items was full of flavor and meat. Potato salad also good o'course you can't go wrong with that one. The shrimp pasta also amazing creamy and lots of crayfish tails and shrimp. Overall Kooper's get a 11/10 rating from us and will be returning.

The vibe of this place was so cool, even the outside of the building is painted awesome. The service was great, everybody was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. I got turkey and brisket with Mac n Cheese, all very good. Turkey was moist and brisket was seasoned well. I personally would have liked a heavier smoke flavor, but it was still very good. Highly recommend trying this place out. Good people, good food, good vibe 🤙🏻

Great food. Brisket and ribs were recommended, and the recommendation was stellar! The sides were also outstanding. Green beans included spicy sausage. The beans seemed more like chili - outstanding!

Amazing Texas BBQ. The staff was so friendly, and made us feel right at home. My daughter has a Tree nut allergy and they were very accommodating for her. If Your children have nut allergies they can definitely eat here.!

Just finished eating there and it was fabulous!! Great food with the perfect amount of tang and tenderness. And you can tell they care about their customers by the way they interact with them. A must for anyone wanting great BBQ while in Galveston!

Hands-down, the best on the island, and probably the greater Houston area

These folks are amazing. Always super friendly, the meats have incredible smoke flavor, and are cooked to perfection. The sides are out of this world. Good healthy portions for a very fair price.

First time here it’s a small cozy place great brisket and sausage had a lot of flavor The banana pudding is absolutely amazing The best part is everyone is so genuinely friendly Come early they are only open until 3:00
