The worst fried chicken you could ever put in your mouth. Went there at 7 o'clock ordered a 12 piece and we got nothing but dried out breasts. I wish I could put a picture but unfortunately I threw it away! Wasn't even worth giving the homeless people. Randall's fried chicken is so much better at thousand percent.

We just got back from Galveston. We usually go around this time and we love Galveston and we go for my mom's birthday and my nephew's birthday every year but I will say this year I got about 3 pounds of shrimp, and it was not very fresh.

So I visited Galveston with my family this summer and of course we needed last min items. Of course we were lost but one of their store pick up shoppers was beyond helpful!!! Her name is Kendra she basically knew the store like the back of her hand. And took the time to help us find coolers sunscreen to snacks and more also she knew the deals for that week!!! All I can say is Amazing!!! And thank you Kendra!!!!

There isn't too much actually wrong with the physical store here. Though I did try shopping in store the other day and the lines were way too long with only a few registers open. I stood in line for about 20 minutes. This review is for the online pickup process.I setup an online account with Kroger today. A remarkably troublesome and cumbersome process involving several browsers, checking emails and texts, logging in multiple times. Already annoyed, I then attempted to use the equally cumbersome product selection process, with too many options, the browser forgetting my location or forgetting my filters, and being unable to tell if coupons were being applied. And even after that horrendous 30 minute process, the purchase itself could not be completed because of error code RV9547. I tried processing 5 times before calling customer support. Only then I learned that I cannot order online at all unless first shopping in the store and setting up the account IN STORE and then WAITING 24 hours to order online. What a freaking joke. At that point I knew I'd never do any of that. And there is no way to delete your account online. And of course that first phone person could not delete my account. So I get blind passed to person #2 to explain everything again and give all my account info again. Then I'm blind-passed to person #3 for another round of explaining and info sharing. I hope CEO Rodney takes a gander and makes some serious improvements. Otherwise, rest-assured, I will never shop at Kroger again.

What has happened to this place?I keep thinking and hoping they will pull out of being extremely under par.Been shopping here since this store opened and now I will spend $2 to cross pass to HEB Yesterday full cart $400 and my check out guy had a older couple bagging their own groceries 80s.So upfront I told him I wanted paper bags. He went a pulled them out to show me he had them then shook and said here you go. I said no help today thencall your mgrAnd comments were really ,plus I will help. I know it's tough to get help but looking back there weren't employees in the flower department produce or behind meat counter. Two bagger for 9 lanes open seems weekNot to mention out of celery, green bell peppers, hotdog buns,?????????This was a Wednesday 3:30 before the Holiday. What happened to these guys

We originally came in to purchase a car sticker after having a vehicle inspected. There were a few people in line ahead of us at the Customer Service desk. While we waited I enjoyed looking at the beautiful flowers for sale in the floral department. Before long we were waited on by a sweet woman who was just a month away from retirement. I don't remember her name, but she was such a delight! She is staying on to help work Mothers Day and then she'll retire! She was very friendly and professional as she got the car sticker printed off for us. We shopped for a few things we needed and then we were off to the checkouts. It didn't appear that any cashier lanes were open so we headed to the self checkout. Disaster Zone! We had to get help from the self checkout cashier that helps fix your orders so you can finish your transaction not once but twice! The second time was reviewed by the cashier and we were told because more than one person was helping scan things. Really!?! So, make sure only person in your party does the entire checkout process. With all the assistance we received it would have been more efficient to just have more cashier lanes open!

Prices going up and quality is going down. Most of the bread is stale. Most of the produce is going bad on the shelves. I've come here too many times to get ingredients for dinner just to have to leave and go somewhere else because everything is either going bad, out of stock, or almost doubled in price. I'll be avoiding this particular kroger.

Friendly service. Very helpful as well. She knew exactly where the disinfectant wipes were.

Stopped in at the Galveston Seawall store early in the am. Got what I needed... in and out quickly.

Cynthia the manager at this location began to berate me. Stating that I am less than because I am on benefits. She called me a scammer and spoke in ill form towards me and my fiancé while we had our infant daughter with us. She acted irate in front of customers towards us and began to belittle me about my appearance. Stating I should “look in the mirror” referencing that I am trash. Another manager Kevin stood next to her as she downgraded me and did not step in the remove her from the situation or practice proper customer service. I have filed a corporate complaint and will be sending in a ten minute video where you can see then only hear her belittling and judging me. It is a shame for her to be working at this store and she should be reprimanded

Great location. Very clean, quick checkout and little crowded. It was the weekend so that's expected.

To whom it may concern-- The bakery at this Kroger RUINED my daughters first birthday. My husband and I called the bakery about two weeks in advance to order a personalized mermaid "smash cake" as well as a dozen cupcakes for a birthday party. We verified that the order would be ready no later then noon on Thursday, July 14th. We are from out of state and are in town strictly for a birthday celebration with family. My husband went to the store around 6pm on July 14th and was told that the cake nor cupcakes were ever made. The stores solution to "make it right" was to have a cake made the following day to be ready by noon. That's absolutely ridiculous. The cost of fuel, time and not to mention the extreme inconvenience, in and of itself, is entirely unacceptable. We would have to take a ferry two hours each way just to even make this possible. I can't emphasize how unacceptable this is. My daughter only has one first birthday. It was ruined thanks to the unprofessionalism of this bakery, let alone this store. I expect MUCH more from a National brand like Kroger. The managerialism of this store is absolute garbage. Tell your managers to take care of dissatisfied customers and teach them to respect your brand, if you except to keep your customers business.
