Just a fantastic, unique old fashioned candy store with awesome milkshakes and banana splits! They don’t make stores like this anymore! If you’re in Galveston, you have to stop in this store! You’ll find items that you haven’t seen in years. And the Taffy pulling shows are very cool.
This place is busy!! There are a lot of treats, and the ice cream was good. The downside for me was how inconsistent the servings were. If you have a happy server, they gave you a full scoop. Unfortunately, I had the unhappy server, and the scoop didn't even fill the cup. Considering they charge $5 per cup/scoop, it was really disappointing. Plus, getting scolded for not moving to the register when no one had even asked for your order. Which would have been fine, but every...
Went every day I was in town
The ice cream by the scoop is very generous. Everything was delicious! Had a fabulous root beer float, a tremendous banana split and a terrific butterscotch sundae. The store is full of candy including chocolates, Taffy, and much more. The bathroom is also nice and open to the public which is rare in the area
