Cheap plates and "ok food". My friend threw up all day after eating here. He got food poisoning. Meanwhile, I was perfectly fine.

Nice mexican food. Don't judge the place by how it looks from the outside. The pastor tacos had to be refilled.

Finally found this gem after stopping in at least 4 other spots! Everything else was either closed, had long waits, or didn’t have breakfast burritos! We had two different styles of burritos and they were both awesome! Great prices too! Our waitress was also very friendly, and super fast!

Excellent authentic food and everything we had was delicious. I got the #59, Mixteca Plato (pictured) - flauta, beef enchilada and al pastor gordita. Homemade flour tortillas, everything seasoned perfectly, service was superb and we had a great meal. We would definitely go back. Mixteca set the bar high on flavor and authenticity. Great prices, truly a local hangout and nothing fancy inside, but beginning to end a great experience. Try the sopaillas!

We searched for a good Mexican restaurant for breakfast (on a Sunday after church). This came up and we decided to try it. When we got there, we seated ourselves and looked over the menu. When it came time to order, we were informed breakfast was no longer available. There was no mention that breakfast was over at a certain time. So, we tried a normal lunch or dinner style meal. One of us ordered beef nachos and the other a taco plate (with refried beans). When the meal arrived, I tasted the refried beans and was immediately put off by it. Tasted very fishy and I can image the same materials used to cook fish were also used for the refried beans. The tacos and nachos suffered because of it. The one thing we liked was their salsa. Right before leaving, the wait staff asked why we didn't eat more of the meals. We explained why and they were non-plused by our comment. Trying a different place next time.

Nicely decorated place but it did not have the warm of a real Mexican restaurant. Needed enthusiasm from staff. Also prices are about 25 percent higher than other local Mexican restaurants.
