The food was really good. Took a minute to get. Their salsa was very lacking like it came out of a can then and then watered down. We were the only people there didn't really like that but the food turned out to be really good. I've ate here before when it was a different name and it's always been good.

Not as good as it used to be (also not as crowded). Food is not as good. Salsa not as good. Chips not as good. Owner (or manager) sitting very casually at a table in the dining room eating grocery store chips at his dinner. Not a good look.

Do not eat at lost patrones on 49th and broadway.
We came here to eat the other night. We ordered and waited awhile for our food. By the time it arrived it was half way cold. I go to eat my food and its wrong. My son tells me his is also wrong. We tell the waiter/New owner. He gets upset you can clearly see it. So he asked what it was suppose to be. Said he will have it remade. The new food comes out and guess what its wrong again. He then tells me I said shreaded chicken. Never in my.life have I even eaten shredded chicken. In so many words I was accused of lying. I told him to take it I didn't want it. I had to go out and sit in my vehicle because my patience had worn thin. I look up and he was arguing with my elderly mom. This is no way to treat people. We use to really enjoy eating here. But not anymore. I will not be back.

UPDATE: The couple sitting behind us didnt get the correct things they ordered. So then he comped my moms bill and the table behind us and my mom said he was a lot nicer after that.

I could say so much more. Like the rice being hard. The first meal didn't have charo beans they had refied. The tv was so loud it was hard to hear anything and this could have been the cause for three wrong food being brought out. Not only was out orders wrong but they were also cold. This was due to him taking the table behind us order.

When the young lady worked here. She would run that place alone and did a fantastic job. I cannot remember her name but I am disappointed the new owners didnt consider keeping her. If that is why she left. She did great.

The food is great taste and not so expensive. We are vegetarians and still got couple of options to eat. However, it took little over expected time to get the food and in the meantime we kept eating the complimentary unlimited Chips 🙂

The food was great, was very surprise how awesome the beef fajita was. It was cook to perfection. My wife and i like the rice and beans. As emperor of the world i recommend this restaurant. Aleluya brothers and sisters..Gracias Moises!!!

Went during lunch hour and somehow ended up spending over $100. Service was friendly but the food and overall environment wasn’t worth over $100. Will not be returning here again!

Los Patrones Fresh Mexican Cuisine was such a great find! Our waiter, Daniel, was awesome…super friendly, attentive, and just made us feel right at home. The food was so good… we tried the chicken flautas, combination fajitas, and chips with queso, and everything was delicious with great portions. We left happy and full! If you’re in Galveston, definitely stop by, we’ll for sure be back!!

This place is overall the best place in town
We were visiting and came across this spot and I’m glad we did. The owner welcomed us in and took care of us the entire time. He also performed magic tricks for my kids and family. Him and another lady were very attentive to us and gave us excellent service. The food was VERY GOOD. Will return again next time we are in town.

I went for the first time on 7/19/25 with my husband and two kids.
Overall very good service, friendly staff and the food was awesome. Definitely give them a try.
The place was fairly busy when we arrived. There were 3 tables full of customers.
I don't know if you have to sit yourself, but we did because there was no one at the door, but they were quick to greet and give us menus once we sat ourselves.
I got the agua fresca de guayaba and it was so good. Definitely recommend for this summer heat.
For my meal I got the enchiladas diablas. If you like spicy like me then this a good plate.
Hubby got mariscada viagra and my oldest got fried shrimp. Little one just plate of fries as he barely eats
Big portions, very filling. We all liked the food we ordered. Definitely recommend.
Won't forget to mention Daniel, he was working that day, super friendly. Did alot of magic tricks and my oldest was super content and amazed as he couldn't figure out how he made 3 things appear and dissappear.
