There was a substitute bartender Saturday night and he was not familiar with the drinks promoted on their menu. So we stuck with basics like Bourbon and 7 or beer. Great building to have a mob bar. The Burlesque show they feature on Saturday night is basically a three woman strip tease broken into two 20-30 minute segments. Don't bother with VIP seating. Venue is so small everyone sits close.

We went to the Burlesque show Saturday night. The tickets said show starts at 8 pm, but it didn't start until 9:30pm. The stage was very small and seating was just basic chairs around the stage area, no tables. It's a very intimate performance, you are up close to the performers. The Building itself isn't much to brag about, it's in need of remodeling. There are a few different rooms, a couple where you can take selfies, there are two bars, one when you enter the building and one in the show room. Both bartenders were great. Drinks are on the expensive side though. As for the Burlesque performers, they were great. They sang and danced and were very talented.Parking: Parking is basically along the street, and is limited availability. There is a paid parking lot within easy walking distance.

The EventBrite description was written by someone who’s never been to this show. There were no tours or history but yes there a several rooms. We went to the Burlesque show 11/4/23. Do not bother getting there at 8, show starts at 9:30. Don’t bother dressing “upscale casual” either. Jeans, shorts and tennis shoes were the norm. Our show was delayed a bit waiting for folks to show up. About 39 seats, including barstools. Very small room but worth it to be so close to the talent. We paid $50 each for first row. Poppytart, Hollygospankme and Mahogany were the performers. All three were beautiful and the show was fantastic. I suggest playing stripper or sexy, suggestive music while we’re waiting and at intermission (instead of hard rock which I do love) as it would have enriched the experience. And please offer a white wine other than Chardonnay. This is not a high dollar production but the gals were top notch and it was worth every cent!

We went in for a drink, and were greeted by friendly staff and a free shot that tasted like fruit punch. The drinks are super pricey ~$15 and I couldn't taste any alcohol at all. The glasses hanging above the bar were dirty (lipstick still on one) and there's not much effort put into the gangster theme. Cool idea but poor execution.

August 11, 20235 friends and i went to see a burlesque show, our first time to see one and our first time to this bar. It was 3 ladies who performed. They were fun and very pretty. Their stage was soo small. I don't know how they did it. In fact, the brunette fell down. The owner is super sweet and gave the crowd a "blood bath" shot that was supposed to have vodka in it, but I only tasted the grenadine. The bar is no frills with 2 bar areas and an outside patio. Everything looked old and used. It's not a classic rich gangster vibe at all. Drinks are $12+ each. Smells of cigarettes when you first walk in, but there's no smoking inside (probably smells from previous bars. it's been in the past) Burlesque is worth seeing once. Not a bar, I would frequent

The Mob Bar has a unique vibe in a very historical part of Galveston. Definitely worth the visit. Great shows and specials too.

An excellent place to be from beginning to end. Our bartender Thomas served up one of my new favorite drinks, the Bonnie & Clyde, the entertainment was top notch and kept everyone with a smile on their face! Great service, great ambiance, and definitely would recommend for anyone looking for that place that has that little something different that you never knew you were missing but will always say you found there. WELL DONE!!!
