Entire family loved the food and vibe. Great experience, staff made it feel like visiting family and the food taste like it too. Wife loved the fried okra and homemade tea (as well as everything else). Kids enjoyed the Mac n cheese, fries and fried fish and my shrimp was cooked and seasoned to perfection. If you’re in Galveston and looking for soul food this is the place to go.
When I tell you if your are in galveston tx this is a MUST! Ophelias Soul Cafe is hands down the BEST Food I have eaten! The restaurant and the people are a vibe. If you read the reviews BELIEVE every single one! I highly recommend EVERYTHING!
Best place on the planet, I can not wait to come back and try another Dish yummy if you're in Galveston do not pass up on the best meal you will have while you visit. 😋 p.s my Parker loves the mashed potatoes and French fries lol
