Pho Tai is one of our favorite pho places in Texas. We love coming to visit when we are in Galveston. Don’t judge the book by the cover definitely applies here. The outside is rough but the restaurant is super clean and despite other reviews we have never experience a sewer smell. The pho is so delicious, the broth is my favorite. We love pho and have it often and never have been disappointed here. The spring rolls are always fresh. Service is good for a Pho restaurant.
Perfect for a rainy day. The pho broth is so flavorful it didn't need added hoisin or Sriracha! They brought out the egg rolls for my daughter cut in half to help them cool faster and the staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was so cozy it felt like dinner at a friend's house.
Take it from me, a Vietnamese person: this is the best pho on the island. Get the dac biet; you won't regret it. Price is great too.
