Playground Patio Bar & Grill

The building is nice, live music, food looked good but we didn't eat, terrible staff. We got ignored the entire time we were there. I probably wouldn't go back

So we came in during the day so we did not experience the nightlife. But the food was terrible. The chips were burnt, the cheese dip is straight out of a can and I paid $7 for boxes Kraft mac & cheese. Like I know it’s a bar and grill, but I expected a little bit more.

So for the last 3 years during Mardi gras me and my family make a point to stop here to order food and what not. Never had any real issues till this year.. I have an allergy to wheat never had the issue before of them just not putting the bun on my burger as I always tell them when ordering I want NO bun till this year... My burger came out with the bun on it and me and my family explained I couldn't eat it with the bun and asked them to redo it.. not even a minute later they came out with the SAME. Burger trying to give it to me , they legit took to the kitchen took the bun off and tried to serve it to me .. so we had to explain I could Not eat it... 15mins later the cook comes out and rudely asks what are we waiting for? Had the lady running the counter bring it to me instead of the cook.. If you have an allergy please please pay attention when being served

This place was so much fun! The atmosphere was great, food was excellent and we enjoyed people watching 🤣 Everyone was having a blast, the musician was amazing and the vibe felt like vacation 😌
I highly recommend!

Can’t believe a manager would treat a customer with such disrespect. What really took me by surprise was the door man/ security guy at the entrance and his racial profiling. He repeatedly mention that people with tattoos have a criminal record and more disrespectful stuff. Can’t believe that an establishment would employee two individuals with those characteristics.

Friday Nights are the best time for me. Karaoke every Friday and Robert the KJ is an awesome entertainer and singer.
Food and drinks are reasonable but the atmosphere is always a delight.
This area of town, I always recommend taking an Uber. 🚔 if you know what I mean.

This has place really good music . Had a great time. Here. But the female bartender. No bueno very rude person. Has no business in the business industry. Im also in the business she has no business . Working in customer service. The manger tonight did a great job of make it right. Love the music over all we stayed anyways. You guys need a new bartender.she going to run your customers away. Who ever owns this place. Send your friends or family members in here to check her for your self. Godbless.

Came here with my parents it was like a go up to the counter and order thing. Thought the place was cute only has skee ball and basket ball so that was a bit disappointing. The nachos were okay but stale chips. Really quiet when we went cool decor especially in bathroom!

This establishment allows under age girls while insisting people who ask about this to leave. I’m just curious why my wife and I are carded at the door, but the door guy, bouncer allows 6 under age girls in without once checking their ID’s? Maybe TABC needs to look into this business.
