I’m in town from St Louis, visiting Houston family. We decided to stay in Galveston a couple nights. Tonight we had dinner at Riondo’s. The food and service were great. We were traveling with 2 children and they handled that without missing a beat.
It’s obvious they make dining there a culinary experience.
The ambience was top notch also.
Definitely a repeat.
Already looking forward to next trip.

Always one of our go to places when we are in Galveston. Sat at bar had drinks and appetizers. Bar experience was awkward. Bartender had to look up how to make a lot of drinks. We decided to move on and have meal at another place. We'll have to rethink coming back next trip.

I don't recommend the margarita pizza because the crust was quite tough

Terrific food with a kitchen staff, wait staff and owner who really cares about quality. Veal chop special presented the best I have had in a long time anywhere in the country. Quality meat and cooked perfectly. I born and raised in NYC area. If you are accustomed to high quality Italian there, you will love this place.

Disappointing experience. We sat in the main dining room near a few families. Their children ran around the restaurant and watched their tablets with the volume loud enough to hear. The service was slow and the waiter seemed inexperienced and kept touching the outside of his nose. The food was good, but the experience was marred by the atmosphere. The next time we’ll try sitting at the bar.

We always have a nice meal with and without kids. They have wine by the glass and bottle. They have a bar. Great atmosphere.
Update: We've been coming here during our vacations for 7 years so far - and still great food and experience. On our most recent trip, I've noticed they have Zoodles (Zucchini noodles). I tried their eggplant with zoodles. You can see in the picture how cheesy it was. It was addictive! I wish I could get this dish near my home!!

everything was great! my boyfriend and I both had a jalapeño lemon drop (a little too spicy, but tasty nonetheless), split a ceasar salad, and he had the red snapper special while I had the veal piccata. really delicious and our server was attentive and kind.

Love Riondo’s we’ve been here a few times and it doesn’t disappoint. Great service, delicious food, and big portions! We tried the bread (1 slice ciabatta and 1 slice focaccia) for $1 and it was amazing - would recommend! The only downside is that we’re always too full of delicious food to check out the dessert menu. Maybe next time!

The service was subpar. The server seemed almost bothered to be serving us from the moment we sat in our seats. Some of the food was tasty; the garden salad and seafood pillows. The lasagna seems to be missing the ricotta cheese. The Caesar salad was served warm. The gnocchi was just ok. The food pricing for the quality was way too high. I don’t mind spending money on great food. This just wasn’t it though. The restaurant interior was cozy.

The manager Christian Santorini is exceedingly rude. I've heard so many bad things about him but I got to see it for myself. Completely ruined Riandos for me. He needs to learn better people skills. I'm not sure if his stature is the reason he is that way but he needs to learn to not exude anger and unease onto others due to his own personal issues. I saw him treat employees like dogs and I won't give my money to any business that treats their employees like that. Do better Riandos
