I wish I could give this place 10 stars!! We went Friday and Saturday night. Saturday's show was WAAAAYYYY better but Friday was still TONS of fun. Drinks were super good and we just had a blast here.

We came into town from Oregon and Gabby was our bartender yesterday, We came back specifically for her! She made us the best margaritas my wife and I have ever had! This is my first review i have ever done and she was totally worth it! Go find Gabby at Rumors in Galveston!!!

Visiting from Dallas and this bar was the best part of my stay in Galveston. From the moment I walked in the door I felt invited and welcomed. Gabby was probably the coolest and most attentive bar tender I’ve ever had in my life. Debbie, who does the karaoke, is super sweet. Overall a wonderful spot in Galveston!

This place is hit or miss the show is good. This is not a bar to hang out in andDepending who’s bartending you could have a good experience or a terrible experience and I mean terrible. You will get Ignored if you’re not super rich. The last time I was here I was in the bar for less than 30 seconds and they try to charge me for a bunch drinks I didn’t order I had literally just walked in the door

First time coming to Rumors and definitely was not disappointed. Our bartender Jose was extremely friendly and very welcoming. Definitely worth the drive will be visiting more often. Thank you for the great service and hospitality Jose!!!

Incredible drag show. Make sure to email to reserve a table! Perfect size for an intimate experience. Drink prices were great ($5 wells on Saturday). The girls were incredible performers. 10/10 the best We loved the Saturday night show that we came back for bingo on Sunday. (Shoutout to Serena the teenage betch for being so entertaining)
Well, here's a spin on the places I have visited! It was my Mom's birthday weekend and we were looking for things to do while staying at a beach house in Galveston. So, long story short, my ex-husband is married to Dessie Love and they perform at Rumors. I've always wanted to see Ron aka Dessie Love and it happened to work out that he was hosting the show that weekend! Here's my take: 1. There's parking, but not a lot. We paid $10 to park fairly close. 2. There is an outside patio with a food truck. We didn't eat, but smelled good! 3. Upon walking in, the environment smelled great. By the time we left, you could smell the Pine-Sol. 4. If you don't want to be recorded by someone using their phone to maybe advertise business, wear a disguise! Lol 5. Drinks are cheap and they have a great selection! 6. The staff was all very nice and professional to us newbies who have never done anything like this before. 7. The show was super fun! We all had a great time! I wish the show would have lasted a little longer. 8. I did not check out the bathrooms, so I have nothing to report. 9. Would I go again? ABSOLUTELY! Having 2 kids with my ex, I have found it is easier to not judge people for who they are. Heck... I'm not perfect either, but the man upstairs still loves me! Have some fun and check out this place!

Nice place to hang out. if you want to be ignored/not get drinks, this is definitely the place to go. My wife and I entered and went to the bar, we attempted to flag down the bartender for a drink and water and were unsuccessful for about 20 minutes. He kept looking and making eye contact with us saying he’d be just a minute, we got our IDs out as requested and he still went to about 4/5 other people who arrived well after us. After he finally came to us he asked if we wanted anything, we said we were fine after having to wait so long. He then told me and my pregnant wife that if we wanted to sit at the bar we needed to buy two drinks. We love going out to drag/karaoke bars and this was the worst experience. The bar area itself was not busy as we do understand that can play a factor. Never again will I come here .

Rumors is a blast!! The service is excellent, the prices are beyond fair, and the food truck is on point. I had a pulled pork sandwich to die for. This place is a definite place to add to your tour of Galveston!
