Best place we have been for seafood! Sean and Karen were our bartenders with top notch drinks and service. My wifes birthday dinner so they made it special with a keylime pie. I had the Gouper and she had the Sea Bass and we shared the mushroom risotto. We used to have a couple of favorites on the island but Saltwater just moved to the top!

The BEST seafood in Galveston! We love this place for the consistent great food, service & vibe. Enjoyed our Anniversary meal at the Bar. Shaun, our bartender & waiter, took excellent care of us :) We LOVE this place!❤️Vegetarian options: Try the shallow fried asparagus! The salads are wonderful too :)Parking: Must hv credit card to pay for parking space in adjacent lot.

We went before a show at the Opera House to have drinks and dinner. It was a wonderful experience. The service was great, the food was incredible and the drinks were excellent! Highly recommend.

I was disappointed. The food didn't match the price. The Tuna tower and the shrimp and scallops with risotto was delicious! But the crab cake, lobster spring rolls and gumbo, were just ok. The bathrooms were gross and the atmosphere doesn't match the prices of the food. By that, I mean, it's not a fine dining establishment. Very mid. I doubt I would eat here again. We just realized that we didn't get the asparagus we ordered last night, Lol! Yeah, we won't be back.

We had a great dinner. My wife had a shrimp plate. I took a chance on ordering a steak in a seafood restaurant and to my surprise it was top notch. We both had a great meal. Our service professional served us timely and was very gracious.

Overpriced for what you got. Waiter didn't listen to our request. Brought food too quick. Brought chowder almost same time as oysters. Felt rushed. Wasn't even busy. I liked Katie's much better.

Bread tasted strange, everyone in our group of 5 tried it and couldn't pinpoint what is the taste exactly, but it was familiar, like some chemical or cleaning product, and not on every bite, so definitely it was from the surface where was kept. Expresso martinis were disgusting. That was not on menu but waiter said they can make it. First it didn't look by color at all like it supposed to, but taste was even worse. The steak was great, perfectly cooked as ordered. Oysters were great as well.
The food and service is fantastic. There is no noise suppression. The noise level was over 100db the entire time eating which is very loud Even the servers have to practically shout to be heard.

Definitely a great place to eat. Very convenient to Opera House. The bread they serve is excellent. I am not a catfish lover but their BBQ Catfish and Grits is really good. The lobster tacos are very tasty.

Excellent food and attentive service. Our reservation was honored at the appropriate time . Ending our meal , a dessert of chocolate covered strawberries was presented from the rests for our anniversary.
