I ordered the fish and shrimp basket which was priced a little high from a restaurant out of a gas station. The reviews were so high that I was going to o take a risk. The shrimp we're good and big the fish was not great. The fries tasted like card board and the flavor of everything was bland. I wish I would have went elsewhere.
Do not let the outside intimidate you. Yes, this restaurant is located inside a gas station. The food is DELICIOUS!!! We stopped in and ordered lunch, it took about 10 minutes until it was ready. The food was hot, fresh and amazing! From the shrimp gumbo to the grilled shrimp, we were a very happy family leaving there today. Definitely a great place to grab lunch and go on a picnic or to the beach. As an extra perk, the staff were super sweet and helpful. I would definitely recommend...
This place was recommended by one of the locals and it did not disappoint! Don't let the fact it's inside a gas station put you off. We had the shrimp and fish, and both were very good and fresh. You can take your food across the highway and eat it on the beach if you like. Handicap parking is available and had clean restrooms. Give them a try.
