Great spot, a lot of seating. The coffee was delicious. The churro latte was so good. Picked up a bag of their coffee as they’re coffee roasters as well and have been enjoying it back at home. Definitely my go to spot when I’m on the Island for coffee. Have also been to the HTX locations and Segundo is always great!

Came here for some espresso drinks which can be hard to find close to the seawall. This shop is tucked behind the bagel shop and took a minute to locate. We got the shaken espresso and the cereal milk latte. Both were delicious

Staff was so sweet and helped me fix a coffee I had bought somewhere else, exploded my coffee all over their counter on accident and they were so nice about it and gave me another cup! I'll be back to try their coffee but if it's anything like the vanilla syrup they make homemade, it will be delicious!

I’m a regular at the Ironworks location in Houston, but after moving to Galveston, I was VERY excited to live walking distance to this location. You can bet I was up there first thing at the start of February to get my hands on the Duvalin latte (a strawberry mocha, exclusive to February). The coffee and food are consistently quality. But what I love most about Segundo are the people. The owners are solid human beings who care about their community and their employees. Looking forward to becoming a regular at the Island location.

The Mexican hot chocolate was so good. I added espresso to mine. Delicious!! The staff was really friendly too.
Really disappointed. They didn’t have sizes for their drinks. My husbands cappuccino was toddler size. I had an iced pumpkin spice latter with almond milk. Tasted like water. Would avoid.

I was referred here, so reason first off the coffee was okay the issue I have is I ordered a small black coffee and they charged $3.15 for it. I am aware there is labor etc which is added but three dollars? Not even price gouging Starbucks charges $3.15 for a simple cup of coffee.

While visiting Galveston we stopped here for some coffee after watching the sunrise. After reading reviews, we were excited to try it. First, this location is located inside Galveston Bagel Company so when we initially walked in we were slightly confused. However, after checking the location to make sure we were in the right spot, we walked in a bit further and looked to the end to find Segundo Coffee Lab. The baristas were amazing! Our coffee was delicious! But the empanada stole the show! The chicken empanada was delicious!!! We ordered La Mexicana iced, Churro latte iced, pinguino iced, chocolate cream cheese muffin and a chicken empanada. Def recommend giving them a try if you are in the area.
