The Den at Hotel Lucine

The staff made you feel like you were staying at a high end resort. Great environment peaceful and serene. Our room was average it was the least expensive of them but all we did was change clothes and sleep. Woke up to the sun rise at the upstairs bar. A++

We had an amazing stay. The staff is incredible. The rooms are nice. Comfy beds. Pool had a very cool vibe. Loved the rooftop bar. 100% recommend.

This was an awesome experience! We reserved a space for 4 for drinks and snacks. It turned out to be a live music night which we weren't expecting, so there were lots of people but it doesn't feel crowded. The open air is awesome. The hosts gave us a comfortable spot to sit to see the show, but we could have been seated almost anywhere and still have good view. Our server was super sweet and took good care of us. The chicken bites and fries were delicious shareable plates for our group. We all enjoyed our drinks from the bar. It's really pretty upstairs looking over the gulf-highly recommend!

Great addition to Galveston! One message to management, I live on the island and would love to use the pool day pass, but every time I have been to the hotel the pool water quality is bad. you can cannot even read the logo at the bottom of the pool. Really needs to be addressed.

I have never in my life written a review that is not positive. I was so disappointed by this place, I had to say something. As someone who works in the service industry, I understand what it is like when someone walks in late to a restaurant. My family and I are from out of town and we came in for something to eat after a long day. I feel like it is different if you eat at a hotel that people sleep at rather than going into your everyday restaurant. With that said, I still felt very bad for coming in late. Since I am a server myself and I told the person who sat us if there, If there is any inconvenience at all of serving us food there it is no worries if we get turned away. She said it was absolutely fine and to sit down at the bar. We sat down at the bar and Reagan was our bartender/server. I have never been treated so poorly at a restaurant in my life. She was unkind, rude, and dismissive. If you are going to be working in the service industry, even if something upsets you, you should still have the skills to be kind. The food was good and the drinks were expensive which was ok, but the experience was so awful we had to get out of there. If you are reading this and considering coming here, I would recommend going somewhere else.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Lucine, a charming boutique hotel located right on the Seawall of Galveston. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were a world away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The hotel's cozy atmosphere and beautiful decor had a delightful retro vibe, making us feel like we were truly on vacation. The pool was a highlight of our stay, keeping our family entertained for hours on end. We didn't even need to visit the beach, which was just a short walk away! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, allowing us to use the pool while they prepared our room before check-in. Our room was immaculately clean, with comfortable beds and plenty of towels available poolside. The hotel also features a rooftop lounge with stunning views of the beach, perfect for enjoying a sunset cocktail. Additionally, they have a restaurant on site called The Fancy, which offers a more upscale menu, as well as a smaller bar and restaurant. Overall, our experience at Hotel Lucine was fantastic, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quick escape. We would love to go back and enjoy another relaxing stay at this wonderful hotel!

Hotel Lucine was everything we could have hoped for. From the incredible service, wonderful pool to the deck area with an incredible view. We enjoyed perhaps the best meal we've ever had at The Fancy. We hope to be back soon!

I stumbled upon The Den at Hotel Lucine and had the most delightful experience! ? The burger and bucatini pasta were an absolute treat for my taste buds – each bite was a burst of flavor.
