While the food was good our waitress was spacy. Took a long time for her to return to table each time we asked/ needed something. Then when we received our bill we found there was upcharges for 2 alcohol floaters that were NOT ordered. When questioned she played dumb. Saying they used to be cheaper. But fact is we never ordered them. A manager was standing close by and never said anything. She was given a choice to change it or it would reflect in our tip. They did not change it. So sad. As it was very nice dining.
Absolute horrible experience. Took almost 2 hours to get food, nobody even said they were backed up, 1 person in the group never got food. The server Melissa absolutely sucks and needs to go. She couldn’t even remember anything was too worried about serving the table who ordered drinks. If I could rate this place a 0 I would. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
This place is so wonderful and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. We will be back soon!!
We were there early evening. Only 1 other group in the restaurant. The service was excellent. The food was very good. Came out quickly.
Had a wonderful evening at the Sandbar Grille. We ordered the campechana for the appetizer and it was fabulous. Hubby had the best chicken fried steak he has ever had and I had the coconut shrimpm - also wonderful. We sat on the rear deck and were able to enjoy the sunset and lovely evening. Aiden was a great server and we look forward to seeing him again!
This is actually two different dining experiences. The upstairs is enclosed, white cloth table dinner experience and the downstairs is marina front open air casual dining with a bar and plenty of TVs. You can tell it's a favorite of the locals by the number of golf carts parked nearby.

Food was not hot. We ordered a po-boy and was just warm. The French bread was not toasted and fell apart. While it was loaded with shrimp, it was flavorless without excess roumelade. First and last time here. Too many options in Galveston to eat.

It's been much busier and service was good in the past. We came for brunch and waited for 15min seated at a table and absolutely no service. No drink. No food. We finally just left.

It was our last day in Galveston and had to have some seafood. We had a great experience, service was good and the food was just as good. I got the jumbo shrimp and our waitress recommended the shrimp kisses which were jumbo shrimp wrapped in bacon.

atmosphere was amazing. Food was mediocre but good. Our server was lovely. What ruined this for me was watching the bar back throw a 5 gallon bucket of bar scraps (liquids, lemon wedges) including straws and plastic sauce cups over the railing into the marina, twice.

We absolutely LOVE The West End Marina! Food is always fantastic, friendly staff, and the views are stunning, especially for sunset!
