Place is lame. Was interested in checking out the spice selection, but I was rudely herded out by an employee even though the spot was 5 minutes from closing. Maybe y’all should close at 5:55 instead? Hope he got home on time.

The Spice and Tea Exchange smells wonderfully when you walk in! They do have a variety of teas and blends as well as diffusers and mugs. My wife and I saw several great gift ideas for our little tea drinker! Our sales person was very knowledgeable and nice.

I will start with I love this place. It's a little shop tucked away on the strand. I enjoy cooking so it is fun to try different seasonings. The employees are super helpful and make recommendations. You can also smell most of the spices and taste them. They make most of their spice blends so you know it is fresh. I will definitely be back the next time I am in Galveston. Yup: if you buy 5 of the small spice bags you get one free!

Phenomenal folks inside working and a lot of variety of teas and spices. Got two popular smoking rubs for $20. Then you can buy 5 pouches of 1 oz of tea and get one free. Might be a limited time offer but it was nice to see. They have seasonal blends and a point system. Highly recommend as they make everything there and described 10 lbs of lemons used for their lemon pepper rub.

Very expensive, many blends give no details about actual components. Likely better off going to Indian, Middle Eastern and/or Asian market to get the same selection at much better prices, details about components and where they came from.

I went into this shop and was immediately greeted. I don't know much about tea and watched to try some out and the workers were so helpful in explaining everything to me. We got to smell all the teas and it was a very nice experience.
