Always a great place to stop and eat when in Galveston. It gets crowded but it didn't take us long at all. It can get cramped when busy but the food and drinks came out quickly and the staff was amazing. Great views of the beach and people walking and riding up and down the seawall.
The food was okay, for the portion size it felt a bit expensive. Got the seafood platter, a drink, and a dozen wings for two people, came out to roughly $33 a person. The wings were good, the drink was delicious, but the sea food platter felt lacking. It was maybe 4 or 5 shrimps, and two pieces of fried fish.

This is not the Spot! The food was average but no one would come here just for the food, we would come here for the ocean view. Sadly, the ocean view from inside was closed off and they wouldn't even allow us sit near the windows for a great ocean view. It was such a waste of time for both the guest and the restaurant to limit seating when plenty of seats in desirable locations were available. The table we sat at had a massive leak from the AC vent. They at least put a bucket nearby to catch the water. Save your time and money and avoid this Spot at all costs.
In all seriousness, it wasn’t a bad place vibe-wise but the ordering was a bit confusing because they made you get the drinks at a different place and didnt even bother to tell you so it wasn’t exactly high-quality but it’s Galvy so nothing ever is there

Mawma this is garbage. Legit the person who took our order told us we should just go to Sonic and honestly in retrospect she was right ? mid food with a great view of the beach and funky decor. This isn't giving what the boomers think it is.

The Spot in Galveston is a must-visit! Their hot honey calamari, Diablo shrimp, and Baja tacos were the best we've had. Delicious Southern cuisine, great service, and a perfect beachside location with a stunning view. Highly recommended!
