This was our first visit since the renovation was completed. We went there for cocktails before dinner. We tried the old fashion, the bird of paradise, and the Hawaiian wave. The bird of paradise was the least favorite. Our waitress, shy, was very friendly and impressed us with the drink order and special requests without writing anything down. We did not order any food but everything going past us looked great. It was a fun place and we will return.
I had high hopes for this rooftop bar, but unfortunately, our experience started off on the wrong foot. Despite having a reservation, the hostess was completely absent when we arrived—and none of the staff seemed to know where she was. We were eventually offered a couch in the corner that looked more like a waiting area than an actual table, which felt dismissive and unorganized. We were told we could try to find our own table outside, but there was nowhere to sit. When we asked the bartender for help, she told us she had no idea because she was “just the bartender.” All the while, we could clearly see several open tables that no one offered to seat us at. The only bright spots in the night were our server Michael F., who was friendly and attentive, and the manager who comped our first round of drinks in an effort to make things right. I appreciate that gesture, but the poor front-of-house experience left a sour taste overall. I hope they can improve their organization and professionalism at the front—because the setting and drinks have potential, but first impressions matter.
The rooftop bar has good service and good drinks. The view is great. However I made a reservation for dinner and drinks and when I saw the food menu I was puzzled. Seemed more like appetizers to me. We did enjoy a nice pretzel and good drinks. A good place for a drink but maybe go downstairs or to MarMo cafe or Hubcap grill for a dinner.
Not a whole lot of food options but service was great and staff was very friendly. Thank you Rebekah for making the experience enjoyable and providing very tasty recommendations!
One of my favorite spots in Galveston! The setting (especially outside) is great for an intimate drink or martinis with friends. Be sure to make reservations ... it's worth it!!!
Did not eat, went for drinks and views. a bit of a let down, after waiting several years for the build out. Why would you leave little space for views, why would you limit time for patrons if they are buying
So glad it's reopened and it's very pretty, but needs a far better wine list - particularly white wine.
We were there just for drinks and to experience the view from the rooftop. We had a great time catching up with our Galveston friends. The view was magnificent and the renovations were well done.
This is a lovely place, but I want to share something we learned: if you want to sit outside at this rooftop bar, you need to specify that in your reservation, in the comments. It doesn't prompt you to do so, but if you don't, you'll be seated wherever there's room. We had a reservation and didn't realize we had to specify outside, and were disappointed when we were seated inside. (Inside is lovely, too, but 'rooftop bar' always means sitting outside to me.
I miss the outdoor space that was available. Took a very long time to get our drinks and then it was wrong. Couldn't see out the short windows while sitting. I would say this is an interior restaurant/bar with a few tables outside that just happens to be on a roof

We made a reservation for our anniversary and were told when we got there that we couldn't sit outside. Wine selection was not very good. The decor wasn't what we expected either.
Intimate and comfortable with a different perspective of the city. The food was excellent and the service couldn't be better.
The bar had a wonderful and fun atmosphere and our bartenders were the best. Dean and Rebeka were amazing, always making sure our cups were full and very attentive to our needs, they made it fun to sit at the bar.
It was a rainy night so the outdoor rooftop area was closed; disappointing to not see the sights but of course a sensible and very understandable decision to keep everyone safe and comfortable. Keep that in mind when planning to visit on a bad weather day. The interior atmosphere was still cozy and classy and we enjoyed our table near the bar. The hostess was friendly and professional, and our server was attentive and as equally friendly with great recommendations. The bar staff made top-notch drinks with great attitudes, and the crab cake and tuna tar-tar served to us were as fresh as they were beautiful. Overall it was a great experience and we can't wait to return on an evening with better weather.
I was really excited to go to the rooftop bar. I made my reservation about a month in advance. My husband and I were about 20 minutes early and asked if we could wait at the bar or in the lounge until our table was ready. No problem. I ordered a $18 mai tai and my husband ordered a $21 old fashioned. The drinks were made with cheap spirits and were not good. The hostess came back to the bar to let us know that the table we had reserved was still occupied and it didn't seem that they would be leaving soon. No worries, we will wait a bit longer, the hostess then informs us that she will only give us our table for 20 minutes max because another guest would be coming in and they should not have to wait beyond their rsvp time. She offered us a sofa in the corner to sit at. Telling her we didn't want to eat on a sofa, she let us know there was nothing she could do. We left at 9pm, on a Saturday, on a holiday weekend to go find dinner. I will never go back, and I'll tell anyone who will listen about how inhospitable the folks at the bar are.
