We have traveled the US and the world. One of the BEST Italian dinners we have ever had. A secret, a gem, and not to be missed when visiting historic Galveston Island. Our server, Ryan, was top shelf and we met the owner and head chef, Pina, who was in the kitchen serving up her craft. 5-stars in our book!
The food was great! My wife lived in Italy for several years. She said that it was the most authentic Italian food she has had in the United States. The service and atmosphere were top notch!
All 4 of our meals were excellent. I'm a big Veal Marsala fan and this was one of the best I have ever had. My only issue with the restaurant was the temperature of the wines we ordered. The bottle of Pinot Noir was warm and I had to request a bucket of ice to cool it down before drinking. With the mark-ups on wine in restaurants, I expect the wine to be served at a proper temperature. My wife ordered a glass of chardonnay which she added ice cubes to. However, I still give...
