We had the best food & service! Super clean which is not always easy to find in Galveston. Jason was a super server!! The quesadillas and queso were amazing!We will certainly make this a new spot when we come to Galveston. Great atmosphere!!

Lots of outdoor seating as well as indoor. I had the boudin enchiladas and they were delicious! My wife had the beef fajitas and said they were amazing also. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting or new to the area.

I brought my family to Venados last night and we had a great time. Our server/greeter Jason was friendly and attentive. I got the spicy boudin enchiladas and they were amazing. My wife got the Crazy Messy Nachos (chicken) and the plate was huge, and tasty. My daughter got a standard beef taco and gladly housed the whole thing (and it was pretty big). Everything was great and we would gladly return.

We ordered margaritas to go. We were told they were good and strong drinks. We were also told the house special was $6.00/ drink for the margaritas. They weren't! We were also told the special margaritas would be $10 per drink they were $12.99. First off don't lie about prices and don't say these are strong drinks when they are nothing but syrup and mix. Also, don't say you are required to purchase a food item when you pay $7.99 for a small disgusting tasting queso. Not worth anything the money we paid for drinks or food.

Enjoyed a late dinner at Venado’s Cantina this week. The food and service were on point. Our table had fajitas and loaded nachos and both were excellent. We arrived late (830 ish) and they took great care of us and served us with a smile. Our server, Jason, was very friendly and efficient - obviously interested in making sure customers have a good experience. They have a new chef and the food and menu selections have improved significantly. If you’ve had a bad experience in the past, I’d encourage you to revisit. Great addition to Jamaica Beach. Will definitely be back.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. They have an ice cream bar and game room.

Cute little place. We are not from this area and heard it was a great bar. The bartender was nice and friendly the locals not so much. Very judgemental. We sat at bar and could hear them talking, made us feel not welcomed.The food was great the cooks did a great job.Take away definitely would go back but not to the bar so we weren't judged and hear them judge other people that walk in the door

Ordered a fajita combination platter. 43$. Was supposed to feed 2-3 people. The platter had enough meat for four small tacos. Mostly onions and peppers.came with 1/4 cup Beans that tasted like canned and they were cold. I had to ask for the third plate. I have never seen the Tortillas like the ones they served. Better off at ( taco cabana). Definitely not good Mexican food.

The service was so bad it took an hour and 30 minutes just to get our order wrong five times and it’s still comes out wrong vents were very dirty and the flooring was not cleaned. The service was so bad it took so long Just for a scoop of ice cream it’s $20 just for a plate of food and it’s not even good After that, me and my family Felt like we were going to throw up and our stomachs were really bad hurting. Do not recommend spend your money on other food.
