We stopped in after checking out Kites Unlimited next door. The Bahn Mi my 10 year old and I got was delicious and huge for the price, and my husband and 4 year old really liked the fried basket, especially the oysters. Very fast service, and we enjoyed watching the kites flying in the lot next door as we discussed what kite we were going to buy. This was one of our favorite restaurants on our whole trip and will be back because I have to try the crab cakes and get another Bahn mi!

Food and service were both excellent! Made to order with fresh ingredients in a no frills environment but the prices are great and it's BYOB!

We ordered po-boy, bahn-mi and oysters and surprisingly everything was very bad

Fried oysters are like chicken mac nuggets not real oysters

But service was ok and maybe sitting there in hot summer day may be ok atmosphere too

Such a low key restaurant from outside if you don’t read the reviews. When I read people’s negative reviews I was a little worried. But the truth is :I was so taken away by my first bite! I can even image my month eating it in a slow motion while my eyes suddenly wide open with enjoyment 🤣🤣🤣 I had the freshly made Banh Mi here. The pork is so well seasoned and still tender and juicy. This is such a big sandwich meal for me considering the $7.99 price. Ordered another Banh Mi to go and will definitely return to try other things here.

This place won awards? For what being at or below average. The fried fish and ship just ok nothing special. Their fried rice is both gummy chewy, it's different, I can't say it was good or bad. The Pho was the weakest I've ever had. I could have made it at home and I've never made Pho. The pork banh Mi was not worth eating. Also, had Vermicelli Bowl it was very tasteless, but the grilled chicken was good in it. Boudian Balls nothing special. I'm clueless as to why this restaurant by a gas station is rated so high. I'm not from here, but know there is much better food to be found on this island.

Best tasting, authentic Pho I’ve ever had. Fantastic fried Cajun shrimp. Must return! Hidden Gem. Perfect mix of local Galveston and Vietnamese cuisine. Crawfish Boil fresh out of the ocean!

Food was amazing!!! Had the pho combo on a gloomy, cold day!! The pork banh mi was stuffed and worth the money!!
It is a self-serve condiments. Can be a little cleaner but overall amazing food for good price!
