We made a reservation a week in advance for 5:30 pm for a large group. We arrived at 5:20 pm and were told that our table had been given away since we were not there at 5:15pm. I never saw any communication that we needed to arrive 15 minutes early, so this was a surprise to us. The restaurant put 11 of us at 2 round table tops in the bar area and in the sun. The sun aside (can definitely get over that), the hostesses and staff setting up the table (one whom I believe was a manager) were quite rude in their comments as we voiced our concerns over the tables themselves and them being in the direct sunlight. We had several small children in our group, so we knew they would be a struggle. Once we were seated, our waitress was great! She did her best to turn around the bad first impression. The food was delicious and fresh - overall, if the issue with the tables and holding them for our reservation had been handled differently, they'd be getting a higher overall rating.

Perfect last stop for our stay in Galveston. The outside deck was wonderful for the vibes - the breeze and beautiful sunset views. Love being on the bay side and away from all the bustle of the Strand. We decided to get all apps for the night. The ahi tuna was more than we thought it was going to be in a good way - great value for the quality and quantity. I particularly loved the boudin balls - so delicious. The citrus shrimp ceviche was tasty and so fresh. The amount of shrimp and avocado was plentiful. I would recommend that one for sharing with a crowd. Lastly, the lobster bisque was some of the best I've had in a long while with some good chucks of meat in there while being so smooth. The service was top notch as well. Looking forward to visiting again the next time we are in Galveston.

We had a reservation for 6:45pm and we waited at the hostess stand for quite a while as they tried to accommodate walk ins with no reservation. After we were seated, no one waited on us for 20 minutes probably. I went back up to the hostess and asked if someone could take our drink order. Finally someone came around. I think they never assigned the table as we were being seated. The food was good and the waiter was nice. The facility was also very dirty and needs a good cleaning.

I ordered the pasta with 3 grilled shrimp, 2 scallops and 1 oz of crab meat on top. I thought it would be a larger portion of pasta, especially for $38. I know you are paying waterfront prices but the prices were very steep for the amount of food you were served. Next time, I am going to order a house salad and the tuna appetizer because that was more food and lower cost than a small portion of seafood on pasta.

Great meal as always! We love to dine here when we are in Galveston. Our waiter Jaime was the kindest young man!! My daughter is disabled and in a wheelchair and 9/10 times people will ask me what she would like. Jaime didn't do that. He brought her a glass of water like he did for the other kids at the table, without being asked. He treated my daughter like an actual person instead of as an afterthought. I couldn't have been more grateful for that small detail. We will 10000000% be back next time we are in Galveston!!

It took an hour for us to get our deink order. Reservations were at eight appetizers came before drinks did not get food till 10. And then to top it off, they added 22% gratuity to our bill.

Food and service was great. If you've been out on the water all day then dining on the patio is ideal. For a nice evening dinner/date dining in is highly recommended. The dining area is very nice. Pets are welcomed on the patio and the food was delicious. Will definitely be back.
