Willie G's Seafood & Steaks

For the amount of money we paid, the food was not great. We went on Saturday for our 2 year anniversary. The food was not seasoned well. We will try somewhere else next time we go.

Another of our Galveston favorites. We always ask for a window table - which affords a great harbor view. Seafood is always fresh, and we love their appetizers, especially the crab claws, the calamari and the tuna rolls. The oysters, either on the half-shell or Rockefeller are great too. My wife had the steak salad, which was huge, with large chunks of tenderloin and my catfish etoufee was delicious. Service was excellent (kudos to Eric), and paced very nicely. Willie G's has a very nice wine list, very reasonable priced, too, especially compared to Houston!

Service was a little slow but the food was incredible as always. EXCEPT... the bar had no Angels Envy or Elijah Craig... then they served my Old Fashioned with crushed ice! Then the waiter didn't come by again for some time .... There I was stuck with an improper drink... how did the bartender not know.. Old Fashioned's are made with a single large cube! Ruined drink! But our food was delicious!

Appetizers were good. Main course came Out cold and the fish was over-cooked and dry. My wife ordered the special which was $75. The monkfish and lobster were so over-cooked she could not eat it.

The food didn't have much flavor and the fish was dry. Service was really great but I was surprised at the food quality.

Swe made a last minute reservation and when we arrived we were seated immediately at a table with a view . Waiter was well versed in how the menu, attentive without being intrusive. Drinks and food were priced reasonably priced. All 3 of our entrees were delicious, fresh fish and beautifully plated. Parking on site and free with validation (waiter handled that for us also). Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The weather was perfect, so we sat outside at our 7pm reservation. The filet mignon was perfection and the service was attentive but not overly so. I always bring guests to Willie G's and they love it

The service was excellent. Food was just OK. Calamari appetizer was overcooked rubbery. Shrimp cocktail is good chicken sausage gumbo was good. 

We enjoyed the dinner so much , the food and drink was wonderfully tasty and our waitress, Cody, was the best! We enjoy her company and pleasant hospitality, made the evening even better!

We enjoyed dinner here after taking a dolphin tour. Beautiful outdoor dining experience and received amazing service from Gianni!

Our family had absolutely the best dinner here! My MahiMahi dinner was delicious! Great place to treat yourself to dinner!

Willie G's is a top shelf restaurant. This was my wife and I fouth time dinning there. To sum it up in one word, consistency. The food,drinks, service, and atmosphere was great. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. I made a reservation and we were told happy anniversary by the door greeter, our waitress, and the manager. Our waitress, Gabby was great. She answered any questions we had and made some good recommendations. If your ever in Galveston, I would recommend dinning at Willie G's.

The bar staff was great on Saturday night 9/13/25 and they were exceptional;Ky busy. I did not get their names but they kept me entertained as I dined at the bar.

My wife's dorado was way overcooked. Raw oysters were served tilted in a bowl so all the oyster liquor was drained out so they were dry. Caesar salad and bar trash were both very good though. Robert our waiter was very attentive as well. In a good way

If you’re headed to Willie G’s in Galveston, make sure you ask for Angie!!! she’s absolutely the best! Her attentiveness and dedication to great service truly stood out. As someone who’s vegan with limited menu options, I really appreciated how she went above and beyond to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. My drink was delicious, and her customer service was on point. She managed the entire bar effortlessly, making every guest feel like they were the only one there. No long waits, no wondering where she went just smooth, friendly, and professional service all around. Angie is a gem!
