Me and my girlfriend tried this place off grub hub the sides were pretty good but I had the steak and it was horrible tasted like they burnt garlic and butter and soaked my steak in it, Girlfriend had the grilled Cajun duo with shrimp the fish was overcooked and so was the shrimp, we got some mushrooms they were good but I wouldn't have high hopes for this place.

I went to the location off Shepard in the Revolving Kitchen. And for the price they charged for what they are calling a bowl is rediculous!! There isn't even enough room inside the container for more than 2 tiny pieces of chicken and 3 small dumplings. I will never come back to this place. And to think that they came recommended.

What an EXCELLENT MEAL! I had the chickenfried steak, mashed potatoes, corn, rolls and rhe cobbler. As a life long Texan thar was 9ne of the best home cooked tasting meals I've had in a long, long time. I rarely write reviews but this restaurant is well worth it! Excellent all the way around! Good job folks! Thank you!

We ordered from the revolving kitchen Cotton Patch in Garland today. I ordered meatloaf for my hubby with an extra side of sauce for the meatloaf. Got home and there was NO SAUCE for the meatloaf at all!Called the number for the Garland Cotton Patch and it's a call center not the location. The lady on the phone said to go back and ask for a manager and request the sauce and they should fix it. She said we didn't need to take the food back there. My husband got there and asked to speak to management and we explained the situation. The manager stated they were out of meatloaf sauce! I asked why they didn't have something on the site stating that or why they don't tell peole. he said they used to call peole when orders were placed but don't anymore since most people don't answer. He didn't offer another meal or anything. my husband asked for a drink and he seemed bothered. I mean how can you sell Meatloaf with No sauce!! and then not tell people. I will definitely think twice about ordering from them again. their c/s was very very poor!!!! We went up there twice because you can't at least tell people your out of stuff!!!!

I placed an order and it was the most horrible experience I have ever had with a restaurant! The food was ice cold and missing items and brunt . I called and spoke with the manager Micheal and he said that the item missing was not included on purpose. And that it was cold because it was cooked cut and and put into the freezer. So there for it was meant to be misleading and sold without the item that was suppose to come with it. And the attitude was very nonchalant!!! Very appreciated and will never order anything from this restaurant again!!

Good for predictable southern meal. Chicken fried steak with gravy is a favorite at our house!

I ordered about 5 months ago from Uber Eats & half of my order was missing but what I received was really good. I ordered again & realized I forgot to request gravy. I called & spoke with a very friendly lady who told me she would check & see if my gravy was added & if we got disconnected she would call me back. Well I did get disconnected & she did call back. Now the food. I got steak fingers, mashed potatoes, & apples. The fingers were crisp & tender. The mash were good & the jalapeno gravy is the best. Oh & the corn bread is awesome. I just wish they had dine in.

I ordered from Cotton Patch today. I’ve been wanting to try it for awhile. The chicken fried steak was great and the squash casserole was really good. The only problems were the overdone roll and I ordered a “loaded” baked potato. I got a solid baked potato which I had to cut and dress myself. It might have been my fault but I assumed when you order a loaded baked potato that it would come “loaded” with everything and you would have to say if you want something removed. Other than that it was great. The location is at 520 Shepherd St. in Garland, TX at a place called Revolving Kitchen. It’s a really interesting setup. Multiple restaurants in one location for To-Go orders. No sit down but worth checking it out.

We are visiting Dallas for a few days and had never Heard of Cotton patch Café but decided to try it because we were looking for good down-home cooking. One person in our party ordered meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and steamed vegetables. It was absolutely delicious! The other person in our party ordered chicken and dumplings, fried green tomatoes. It did not disappoint. Tasted like good down-home cooking that we were craving. Would definitely recommend this place, and will visit again when in Dallas Texas.

I eat from this location frequently and I order the same meal every time. I’m on first name basis with the women who work the front counter. Tonight I was very disappointed with the way everything looked on my plate when I got home. Whoever is cooking the food tonight, please don’t let them cook ever again! USE THE REGULAR COOKS!!!

Customer service sucks in Rockwall. Sorry but the whole vibe from the time of walking in was terrible. No greeting and didn't asking if it was dine in or carrier out. Just totally ignored.

The order was incorrect, the food arrived late, my chicken fried steak was overcooked and disgusting, the mashed potatoes were a brick, and all my food was cold. Plus it arrived so late that I couldn't call the restaurant to let them know. A real disappointment compared to the Waxahachie location. Will never eat here again.

Awful all around. I ordered a few months ago from the same location using the same delivery service (Skipkart) and expected to have another great experience. This has definitely deterred me from ordering again. I called about the missing items and both employees obviously were inexperienced and overworked. They told me it was just them two working that night and i had to leave my number with them so the manager could call me the next day. The driver was even worse because he had like 5 people in the car with him and my food smelled liked cigarette smoke. It even flavored my steak so it tasted like cigarette butts. Just terrible. Would not recommend. I should have just eaten my ramen noodles but this is what I get for wanting to "treat myself" ?
