Dairy Queen in Garland

“I went today for dinner. The vibe inside reminds me of the 90's for some reason. Everything seems outdated but not in a bad way. It was pretty comfortable and brought back some good memories. The place smelled of an old hotel and cigarettes. The speakers need to be turned down or off since you can't hear anything but static and no words. Now on the other hand the staff was really cool and welcoming. The manager seems like a real nice guy. He brought us our food to our table and asked if we wanted dessert before or after. There was a new employee getting an order wrong and he didn't seem flustered about any of it, stayed by her side the whole time helping her out. The food was good! Ordered the spicy chicken tenders. I'm Hispanic and LOVE spicy. These were good and I will be returning to get them again. Only thing wrong was just the seats were a bit dirty from everyone's backs rubbing against it over years and years. The place was clean overall as well. Might just be a few things that can change to make it a bit better.“

“This location makes the best blizzards….very generous with the candy and its actual candy pieces and chunks and mixed all the way to the bottom. Cashiers are friendly and the teens are very polite. Certain ones I’ve been to basically give you vanilla ice cream“
