My friend today was questioned by the owner on his disabled veteran status after parking in a handicap spot. When questioned if we had a placard, we kindly responded yes and if he would like to see it. Owners response was, “you look very well and able”. Well Darren, you must not know what a disabled person looks like. Sometimes suffering happens in silence.It made me feel super uncomfortable as a bystander. He then continued to kick us out of the restaurant.Had he just asked us to move simply because of the elderly population that comes here, we would have.Questioning someone’s ability to park in a handicap spot is okay, but continuing to question someone’s disability is not okay and is very disrespectful.

I would go back to this place based on customer service alone. Every single staff member that we had an encounter with was wonderful, friendly and amazing. On top of that the food was absolutely delicious. I wish I would’ve taken better pictures. I snapped one too quickly because I was so hungry but next time because I will go again, I will get better pictures.

I've never even been here and was excited to go but from reviews the owner seems to never apologize or take responsibility. Salt and pepper doesn't cure everything, good foods start in the kitchen. The owner just sounds like an arrogant bully. Turns me off!!

We ate at Darren’s for the first time Friday night 2/23 and loved it. Service and food were excellent. We will make it one of our favorite places from this point forward. I am already planning to go there for breakfast. Perfect combination of restaurant, sports bar, and neighborhood bar type. Clean and friendly.
This is by far the best burger I have ever had! The onion rings and tots were just as good. The service was amazing. Everybody was very kind and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

What a great place! Came in for breakfast yesterday and my mind was blown at how great everything was. I loved it so much that I came back for dinner last night to try one of their famous burgers, and it did not disappoint! Hands down, one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially with the little ones that we brought with us. I’m so glad that I have found my new go to neighborhood restaurant. Listen to me people, go try their fantastic food and hangout with some even better people.
