Update. Must have changed managers, for the worst.
Only two tables of customers when I come in. Had to wait over 5 minutes to be seated. Person spoke no English. Ordered ice tea, then a meal. Meal comes out and I had to ask for a tea a second time. NEVER offered a refill. My tea was empty half way through my meal. I placed the empty cup near the edge of the table so that it would be noticed. I waited 10 minutes after eating reading my phone hoping to get a refill. Never came. FOUR bucks for a glass of tea at a diner with NO refills!
Staff did not want to work here and it shows.
OLD REVIEW
With all the highway construction going on around this store, there seems to be a dip in sales. The daytime staff have been there for several years and effortlessly do their jobs well. The food is standard Denny's food, cook as you would expect from a Denny's. The building itself could use some sprucing up. The franchisee that owns this one has not focused much on it in the last few years, it seems that he is focused all his efforts on his mesquite store. One positive though is that the store is still running the $5.99 Grand slam deal.
The price along with the staff make this a good place to go to for breakfast.

Two visits during night shift, there was at least one giant roach crawling on the floor, and in one case, there was the stench of roach spray. With only two tables occupied, the server was exceedingly slow in even getting the first set of drinks. The server had to come back three times to confirm the details of my order, one of which was the cook needing 15+ minutes to get eggs.
Edit: Third visit, we were turned away because their ONLY waitress didn't show up, so they were only capable of doing to-go's or just closing.

Waitress took our order, brought us our food & then proceeded to go make a phone call. Could hear her on the phone. Didn't come back, til she brought the ticket. Never offered to refill our drinks, see if we needed anything else... Restaurant was dead, at noon.

Great service, clean restaurant, and calm atmosphere. Our server, Adriana, was really nice and was constantly checking on us. Would highly recommend visiting this location!

My experience was amazing! My server Maylee was the sweetest and kindest person ever! Also, the manager Jennifer was super attentive with us, overall my experience was amazing! Quick service, friendly people, amazing food, and so much more; I highly recommend!!! 🙏🙏

I was super hungry first of all. I walked in and got seated. My server was popping gum out loud. She put me in a booth that was nasty. I took a napkin and cleaned the seat and table. She saw me doing that and didn't say I'm sorry let me do that or let me sit you somewhere else. So I asked about a change on the menu and she said I will go find out. Well 10 minutes later she came back I sat there long enough to change my mind. I didn't understand the wait I was the third person in there.While waiting for her to come back I can still hear her popping that gum like she was outside. SMH !! Anyway I ordered and not happy. Omelette was good but the hash browns was nasty like they were cooked in old oil. Did inform the server she asked if I wanted some more. I said no thank you. In my mind why did I want some more oily potatoes.Had no jelly or been asked if I wanted any for my toast.I ordered a waffle to go with my food and never got it. After waiting for it another server came to tell me that my waffle got burned and they were going to start another one. I told her never mind just take it off my bill. Because I was half way done with my food. So I moved the hash browns over and just ate my omelette with toast. One other person came and asked if I needed anything I said no thank you by then I was finished eating. Never got a ticket. So I walked up to the front to pay and go. I stood there for at least 6 to 7 minutes waiting to be checked out. Finally someone saw me and came to check me out. I was so ready to get the hell out of there !!!! I love Denny's because they have better menu items for breakfast than IHOP. But this Denny's I will not go back to at all. The only thing I can say is they were nice and Friendly but the customer service and food needs Help, help, help !!!!!!!!!! And please stop popping gum out loud with customers dining in, so unprofessional !!!
