Famous O’s Catfish and Shrimp (food truck)

Seriously the best catfish and shrimp! The breading (along with everything else) is seasoned so well. Everything is fresh and tastes amazing. The catfish literally melts in your mouth. The food isn’t greasy and the customer service is 10/10! We love coming here. So rare to find that authentic Louisiana taste, but this is it!!

Everything we ordered was fresh and tasted wonderful! So glad to have them so close!

Some of the best fried shrimp I've ever had . Highly recommend. Seasoning was perfect, shrimp was prepped to perfection and the tartar sauce is one of a kind (get extra). Was able to place my order ahead and folks were super responsive

I had the pleasure of trying this true Louisiana style cooking, and I was impressed! I visited their food truck in the Fate, TX Food Truck park. I ordered the shrimp poboy with all the trimmings(lettuce, tomato & pickles)fries came with my meal and their delicious homemade tartar sauce. I also tried their delicious homemade banana pudding.I just knew I was in New Orleans when I bit into my poboy! The owner and his crew had amazing customer service. All that to say 10 out of 10 I definitely would recommend!

What can I say the only complaint is I did not order more! The Stuffed shrimp are AMAZING! End of story if you don't like those you need to just stop eating food!

I ate catfish from Famous O's today in Rowlett. I love catfish. I have eaten catfish all my life. I've had grilled catfish, deep and pan fried catfish, blackened catfish, broiled catfish, and baked catfish. I've had decent catfish, I've had good catfish, I've even had really great fabulous catfish. But until today, I've never had the best catfish I've ever tasted in my life! It was fried to perfection and served with some well fried French fries, Texas toast, and the best tartar sauce ever. Some hot cayenne sauce was also included.The proprietors are very friendly and everything was impeccably cooked fresh on site. All I can add is Wow, how did you do that!

We tried Famous O's at the forney ball drop. The catfish and fries were amazing. Best I've had in a while. My teenage daughter liked mine so much that we had to get her her own. She usually doesn't really like catfish but loved theirs. So good.

Badass food for my seafood craving!! The person who posted one star on these reviews doesn't know anything about some awesome fried seafood. ? I had the jumbo shrimp and it was worth every bite!!

The workers had great service on the food truck, but the food looked horrible. Actually didn’t even taste any of it. I ordered the 1pc catfish basket with fries. The fish was half done and greasy. The fries looked old, but everything was hot. I feel that they didn’t let the fish cook long enough and the fries look old.

A real Louisiana taste! We had the stuffed shrimp and banana pudding 10/10 & the customer service is fantastic!

Oh my goodness. I got the stuffed shrimp, it was so good. They're so nice. She takes her time with each person she talks to/helps. You have to try it if you like fish/seafood!!
