I’ve lived right around the corner from this place for a year but never noticed it until the other day. So today I decided to try it out. Plenty of easy-access parking, all close to the door. A nice gentleman opened the door for me on my way in and escorted me to the table of my choosing. There is a cool enclosed patio area on the way to the dining room. I sat at a tall tabletop inside the bar area. Good music. Chips and salsa arrived very quickly. House frozen marg was decent....
Frankie's is always phenomenal. It's not a menu you'd see at a typical Tex Mex restaurant and that's part of the charm. I've never had a bad meal and everyone I've taken to Frankie's has loved it.
Just when i think i had the best mexican, coming from az, this place blew all of our minds. From the chili relleno to the chimichanga to whatever my vegetarian buddy had. Salsa when you ask for the hot, was pretty dang spicy. Get the dessert!!!!! Fast service too. It was a great night and food so good, two of us ordered to goes. 100% authentic!!!
