Gran Machu Picchu is a restaurant worth visiting. The grilled chicken with white rice, salad, and fries is a must-try, especially with the delicious sauce. The place is clean and the service is friendly and excellent. The whole roasted chicken is a specialty they do very well. While the kitchen can be slow, the traditional Peruvian dishes like ceviche and pollo a la brasa are flavorful and satisfying. The bistek a lo pobre is delicious and the tamale is good. Despite some understaffing, the attentive service and great food make it a place to return to.
