Jaimes Donuts knows how to make cinnamon rolls! My wife and I were in Garland early this morning and decided to grab some donuts. We also got donut holes (the bag was very generously filled) and cinnamon rolls which had the perfect blend of cinnamon, glaze, and was very chewy and tasty. The folks there (I presumed are a mom & pop owner) were very friendly and nice. I'm always on the hunt for the perfect cinnamon roll and it might just be here. Although we don't live near this establishment, we'll try to drop by for their apple fritters!

I came in planning to buy some donuts, but immediately noticed flies hovering around and landing on the donuts, sandwiches, and kolaches in the display case. The kolaches looked old and dried out, like they had been sitting out for hours.
When the staff member came out to assist me, I mentioned the issue â specifically pointing out the flies. He simply said âthank youâ and walked away, showing no concern or intention to fix the problem.
Food safety and cleanliness should be a top priority for any business serving food. Based on what I saw, I wonât be coming back.
Follow up Reply to Owner: I appreciate the response, but I need to be clear: what I saw was unacceptable for any food establishment.
Flies were visibly landing on your donuts, sandwiches, and kolaches â and nothing was done even after I pointed it out. Whether those items were for sale or not, they were uncovered food in plain view with no signs stating they were for display only. Thatâs misleading and unsanitary.
What concerned me most wasnât just the flies â it was the lack of urgency. The employee didnât apologize, didnât remove or cover the food, and walked off like it didnât matter. Thatâs not just poor customer service â itâs a food safety issue.
Bringing up past inspection scores and your years in business doesnât change what I experienced. Cleanliness should be a daily standard, not something you lean on from a past report. Based on what I saw, I wonât be back.

Spent nearly $25 and got no donut holes. Almost every location you go to will give you complimentary donut holes. Also the donuts were mid at best

First time there it's close to a job site, so I popped in and grabbed some glazed donut holes. The girl at the counter was very friendly, they had only been open 10 minutes so everything was fresh, and the donut holes were larger than what I'm used to from my local donut shop, but they tasted ok.

Great Little shop with amazing kolaches and donuts. I came in early saturday morning, I was greeted promptly and everything was given as ordered. The only part that was not so great was the young ladies attitude up front, she wasnât so pleasant to be attended by. I am not asking for 5- star customer service I understand itâs early in the morning however, a more pleasant attitude/ response would be appreciated ecspecially if as a customer one is being extremely pleasant and non-hostile. I even apologized to her because I was super tired and it was early. The gentlemen working there were the complete opposite, welcoming and smiling. They are the only reason why I would go back and the food was fresh!

Great team of professionals, received me politely and they have all you need. Group of people eats donuts in my house all are fun of jelly filled and not all locations carry that variety. Freshly prepared and twists were excellent

Asked, and paid for 2 dozen mixed donuts .. got to office, only received 21 donuts and most were cake.
Today was my first time setting foot in this dainty donut shop. It was very welcoming to be greeted, so kindly, by the young lady at the front. I tried their apple fritter, old-fashioned blueberry, and cinnamon donuts, all of which were fantastic. Give this family owned business a try to start your morning right.

I told the young lady 2 kolaches,.. she repeated 2? Yes with Jalapeños. She said yes we have jalapeño. She heated the kolache I paid & went to the car... I only got 1 kolache. No jalapeño. She repeated what I said, & still got this simple order wrong. Plus the kolaches were over heated. ?

Found my new donut spot! Ordered a few different styles of donuts and they were all very flavorful and fresh. So many donut places have a large variety, but they all taste the same. Not at Jaimeâs! Also - the strawberry old-fashioned donut is something dreams are made of! Highly recommend! âš
