If you’re looking for a venue for any event from a wedding to a celebration of life, you can’t go wrong at Lakewood Brewing, 2302 Executive Dr., Garland. They have several different areas one can reserve, each with its own personality. And included in the cost of the rental is UNLIMITED BEER and other drinks. And their catering menu offers a delicious selection; the Caprese Skewers and the Charcuteries Skewers were a big hit, and easy for people to enjoy while socializing. The flatbread mini-pizzas had great flavor, unlike what you might think of brewery food. The best part: working with Cassie Henderson, their event planner! Her patience, humor and attention to detail made our event special, and I can’t thank her enough.

It is okay! It's very popular I'll give them that but the beers are very average and so is the food. Lakewood is almost an institution in the DFW brewery scene so I get the appeal. However we will not be coming here again. There are so many more breweries in DFW with better beer and food.

I arrived at 3:30 to do the 4:00 p.m. tour. Daniel, the bar manager did a pretty good job and answered as many questions as I possed to him. (I was the only one on the tour) There were a few questions left unanswered that I think would have been more appropriate for the production manager or owner. Nevertheless if you were looking for just an evening out to socialize and enjoy your favorite beverage; Lakewood Brewing is the place to be.

Excellent beer and food menu, they also have an N/A option or two available. Also an excellent outdoor seating area with some giant jenga and corn hole boards. It's worth a visit!

Lakewood is hands down the BEST flat bread you can get around here. It has the cracker-like crunch with a delicious light and tasty tomato sauce. All the ingredients are as top tier as the staff. Dan is a bar tender I have known for over 8 years and is truly one of the warmest souls you'll ever meet. He is half the reason I frequently play music at this place. If you're looking for an experience, come to Lakewood!

I recently visited Lakewood Brewing Company for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and beers. However, my experience was marred by an unexpected billing issue.
I ordered 6 beer flights, totaling $24 plus tax, which should have rounded up to approximately $26. Unfortunately, my bank statement showed a charge of $31 – a surprising 20% increase.
What troubled me was the payment process. After tapping my phone to pay, the staff didn't present the monitor for signature or tip confirmation. I was assured my transaction was complete. It appears an excessive tip was added manually without my consent.
I would have gladly tipped for the excellent service, but the lack of transparency has made this feel like an unethical transaction.
*Rating:* 4/5 stars for the brewery experience, but 1/5 stars for billing practices.
It's a really nice taproom and beer garden! They have a protected kids area outside and lots of little corners to tuck into

I’ve been to Lakewood a dozen times and enjoyed the experience every rime. The food offerings are really good! And of course the beer. I try the tap house exclusives when I go.
