Main Street Cafe has a menu packed with good choices. The burger and fries are very tasty and delicious. The chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken will be the best you have ever eaten. The Salmon salad oh my what a treat. The pimento cheese sandwich with jalapeños and pecans will make you want to return for a second round. I do not normally eat pork chops. The Main Street Cafe is a local Garland treasure. Many of the old establishments have closed or moved, partly due to the pressures of the work on the Square that closed off the area.

We rarely were able to make it to the Main Street Cafe due to the business hours, short during the week, and closed Sunday. The hours have been extended, meaning we can go eat or go grab something in the early evening.

We love Main Street Cafe! I always get the chicken fried chicken. It’s scrumptious! My friends get a variety of foods. We have al enjoyed what we chose. Staff is friendly and recognize us.
