First time user on the “To Good to Go” app! I saw Ocean Buffet were participating. Since I never had their food but always wondered how was it this would be a great way to sample the food for $9.99. I was so excited they gave me a nice portion, more than I expected really. When we (family) got home and dug in! The food was horrible! Here is 100% honesty. The chicken wings tasted spoiled you could admittedly tell there was something wrong. The egg rolls had been sitting for sometime if you love egg rolls like I do you know when they are old. There was a seafood mix that was dry and rubbery. The sweet and sour soup was thick and had a weird taste. I realize this is a program to stop food waste but if the food is old or spoiled just throw it out. Don’t give people food poisoning. It’s a great program and I love the concept. By all means support to help fight waste but please be careful and don’t eat anything that truly needs to be discarded. Please try Ocean Buffet for yourself you may have a different experience. I do appreciate their participation in a great cause!

Corporate Action Needed Unacceptable Behavior for local community and Customers
My experience at Ocean Buffet today was deeply concerning. The price for a to-go order was unexpectedly high, and when I opted to dine in instead, the staff refused to adjust the price.
The manager on duty was unprofessional and outright disrespectful, using offensive language and showing no regard for customer service.
I expect corporate to investigate this incident immediately and take action to ensure that this kind of behavior does not continue at this location. Please reach out to me with a resolution.
