It had been a while since we visited Pete's Pizza at Firewheel. The last time we were there it was 5 star rating on YELP so pizza it was for the cashew family. It was a sign when we found a parking space right in front of the restaurant. We quickly walked in enjoying the cool 100 degree weather in North Texas. It was seat yourself yet very busy Saturday at the restaurant bar. We sat and waited for our server. She was a pleasant young lady with an awesome memory. We had the obvious pizza and wings and we were witnessing another great sign, cashew my 4 year old was calm and cool. Oh Lord, said my inner fat guy, bring on the carbs. The place had good bar music on, the bathrooms were clean and the liquid spirits were calling me...drink UNA nomas UNA. The food started to arrive at different times. After we prayed, the pain started. I had the ten wings and they were warm. Since they were warm, the habanero sauce was extra think amd made the wings taste, blah. Mother of cashew had the same thought with her wings. VERY disappointing. Next was the meat lovers slice and yes, it was warm and insert the dead pacman sound, destroyed the pizza drool and desire. Like i said, our server did good but the food quality was horrible. The bill arrived and like before it was a good price for us five. We were truly disappointed and wondered if last time was an accident. We will be back to give a third shot.

A friendly staff and great food makes this a great casual hangout spot if you are in the Firewheel Mall! A great place to watch sports and meet cool people from the area!

Food was just OK. What was disappointing is they charged extra for flats and charged you for the side of ranch or blue cheese with your wings. I can see being charge for extra but that's ridiculous. This turns out to be a one and done eating here.

Angelica was amazing as far as speed, service and work ethic. She was running the business with a smile. Food overall was good and great energy overall. 5 stars all around.

Kid-friendliness: She was awesome towards my Daughter. Treated her like the little human she is.

Great wings. Awful service.&& Who serves wings & charges extra for dipping sauce (I.e. ranch, bleu cheese) at least serve one, complimentary.

I was overcharged! At anytime that you visit, make sure to request for a receipt!! We stopped in on a Friday night for a couple of adult beverages and pizza. And our bill was excessive!! I will not be going back any time soon!

Awesome experience, came in right as they were pulling the tables away to create a dance floor. They were super courteous and extremely polite the entire time. TBH the wings are nothing to die for, but they are definitely good and worth what you pay. Definitely check it out, day or night

Great service. Great food and great price. I had 6 wings a slice of loaded pizza and a sweet tea for only $15. Thought they made a mistake on the bill it was so low

Beware. They charge extra and hide it on the receipt. Shady businessEdit to reply. Simple math. 10.95 plus .90 is not 12.23. Liars and thieves. Hidden fees thinking you can get one over on customers makes you shadyI'll keep replying while you keep lying. You are required to itemize a surcharge on the receipt. This is theft not a credit card fee

Came in twice this week while shopping for Christmas gifts! The first visit was a perfect 5! I ordered 10 wings. I was pleasantly surprised to see some meat on the wings! The second visit was a 3! I ordered two slices of pizza and clam chowder! The pizza was kind of under cooked, but the toppings tasted really good. The chowder was all potato! Fix the ratio of clams in the chowder!

Had fries and boneless wings. Wings were over cooked and very dry; fries were undercooked and soggy.Giving two stars for a good Bloody Mary and good atmosphere/bar.

Well, I wanted to write this before the lady did, she came in and ordered two appetizers, fried calamari and stuffed mushrooms, she ate six or seven of the calamari and returned them, ate three of the four stuffed mushrooms and wanted to pay for nothing. I took the calamari off the bill and I told her I would not take off the stuff mushrooms. She argued for a while I finally agreed to takeoff half of them and she said I will certainly hear from her in a review. I’m sure I will. She also stated she was from New Jersey not sure what that means but go ahead write your review.

Honestly for my first time bing here it was soooooo disappointing. We started out with drinks that were just alright but we figured we’d start out with some appetizers. When they came out they were totally over done yet the bar tender saw nothing wrong with it. On top of that the entrees came out over cooked as well. All and all we decided not to make a big deal about it. However once we got the check that’s when I was ready to walk out. Not only was everything over priced but they charged for ever little extra sauce they decided to bring. All and all just an awful experience I hope no one makes the mistake of making.

Love this place and the food. The bartenders, servers and even owner makes sure every experience is top notch. Recommend the mango habanero wings, pizza (freshly made in pizza oven) and Rod’s chili in the colder months. Live DJ on the weekends and a great place to watch Cowboys games. Located in Firewheel surrounded by great shopping.
