Enthusiastically drove my family there to check out the hype and we were all disappointed. Over priced for no reason and the taste didn’t match the price or hype

Absolutely wholesome experience at Salt N Pepper. The food was incredibly delicious but the abula truly stole the show. Every bite felt authentic and comforting. The atmosphere instantly reminded me of home, from the warm welcome to the familiar aromas and vibes that make you feel like you’re back in Nigeria. To top it all off, the owner Lekan is an absolute gem, welcoming and genuinely passionate about the food and people. This place is a true treasure for anyone craving real Nigerian food. I’ll be back again!

It’s my 4th time here and I always have a good time. The Abula is sooooo good. Their Ofada, seafood okra. Jennifer was my sever and she’s very lovely.

Always a disappointment as usual all they do is pack pepper in the food and eat way too much oil. No improvement at all. And whoever makes the food always makes it too sweet and everyone else I have spoke too has said the same thing. Not sure how the restaurant has a still standing

Food was good if you can endure the spicy soups for swallows. No real customer service but the owner acknowledged customers personally.

So I go to this restaurant to pick up an order for a customer and he tells me it's going to be 10 to 20 minutes. I waited 15 minutes go back in the building and he still telling me 20 minutes. This is very bad business when this order is 30 minutes late being prepared. I've noticed this with the number of black-owned businesses and this is not good

Had an amazing lunch today at Salt N Pepper Kitchen & Catering Services with my wife, and we were thoroughly impressed! I had the Seafood Okro, which was rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. My wife went for the traditional Abula – Amala, Ewedu, and Gbegiri with assorted goat meat – and it brought back all the authentic Yoruba flavors we love.

We also ordered Ayamase sauce with rice and beans, and it was absolutely delicious – spicy, savory, and satisfying.

A special shoutout to Madam Lolo and Ebuka, who gave us exceptional service and made the entire experience warm and welcoming.

This place is a gem! Highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic, well-prepared Nigerian cuisine. We’ll definitely be back!

I came and was given the amala bowl. By the time I got home and opened it, It was just mainly oil in the stew plate. Gbegiri and Ewedu was just normal. It didn't really hit the spot at all. Ended up throwing it away.

I’ve had Amala in New York, Atlanta, and New Jersey—but nothing, nothing, beats the Amala I had in Dallas, Texas. Salt and Pepper. Y’all are different! The Amala melted in my mouth, the meats were unbelievably soft, and that cold Malt drink to wash it all down? Perfection. The host was super friendly, the service was fast, and everything about this place just hit the spot. I’m not looking anywhere else—this is my go-to from now on. Thank you, Salt and Pepper. I’m satisfied… no, over satisfied!

Good food
Update June 2025:
I used to enjoy this restaurant back in 2020, but my recent visits in 2025 have been disappointing. They now prioritize familiar faces, serving those they know even if others ordered earlier. I waited over 45 minutes while multiple people who came after me...greeted warmly by the staff were served first. It's unprofessional and upsetting.
