Had an amazing lunch today at Salt N Pepper Kitchen & Catering Services with my wife, and we were thoroughly impressed! I had the Seafood Okro, which was rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. My wife went for the traditional Abula – Amala, Ewedu, and Gbegiri with assorted goat meat – and it brought back all the authentic Yoruba flavors we love.

I’ve had Amala in New York, Atlanta, and New Jersey—but nothing, nothing, beats the Amala I had in Dallas, Texas. Salt and Pepper. Y’all are different! The Amala melted in my mouth, the meats were unbelievably soft, and that cold Malt drink to wash it all down? Perfection.
