Ordered a cake for my WEDDING, as to say I was very nervous with it being a destination wedding. Natassia was very patient with me during this process and walked me through the steps. She made ordering from her a breeze. Now lets get to the cake, it was sooo good. Very moist and full of flavor, the icing wasn't too sweet, just sweet enough to bring out the flavor of the cake. If I could do 10 stars I would. On behalf of myself and my wife, thank you for your attention to detail, and taking the weight of finding a cake off our sholders.

This rating is solely for customer service. I wish I would have gotten to taste their cakes. Extremely poor communication. I left messages in the morning and wouldn't get responses till the 7pm or later in the evening. When I asked what their policy was if a cake was incorrect since I would be paying 100% beforehand. they stopped corresponding with me. I sent an email the next morning asking why they had stopped talking to me and if I should assume they wouldn't be helping me and need to look elsewhere. It was late in the afternoon when I received a response telling me that since it was "evident that (I) lacked the faith in their ability to deliver desserts that fit (my) need they would take my last message as a decision to look somewhere else." I was really taken back. I requested the order on the 2nd, and it would've been completed that day, but it didn't finalize till the 6th, because of their slow response time to my questions. Now, they have dropped me because it seems to me that I hurt their pride by asking what happened if the cake was wrong. It was nothing personal. It's business. Who blindly sends a large lump of money without assurances that they will be handled fairly if there were a problem. I was told their job was not to assure people; "We are a business and our job is to deliver amazing goods, not to reassure you. That is what research is for which I would hope you did when searching for a bakery." They also accused me of not paying and that's why they dropped me. Um huh? I had just wanted to know what the policy is after paying 100%. They did not respond. How is that on me? They must have all the business they can handle, and are not interested in gaining new customers. It's too bad, too. I do a lot of catering. I really needed them.FOLLOW UP TO THEIR RESPONSE: Please know readers that their rebuttal is completely false. I was not ugly in my rating, I was honest. Since there are two 1- star ratings saying the same thing, you will all need to be the judge of that. I count it a blessing that I did not give any money based on the other 1-star rating. That is exactly the red flag vibe I got trying to communicate with them. By the way, so many wonderful bakers offered help and I'm paying $150 less. I got a cake from here for my graduation. I sent in a picture of what I wanted the cake to look like and it looked even better! The detail of the decorations on the cake was outstanding, everyone was impressed. It tasted amazing too. There was a last minute change to where the cake was being delivered and they were able to accommodate me! Great service and great desserts!

The 40th birthday cake for my husband turned out amazing, and the cake tasted so delicious. I had showed them a picture of the design of the cake and they made it happen!
