Being from Tampico myself makes visiting Tampiloco such a delight! Is a little bit of home right here in Texas. I always make the 40 min drive just to go for the food! The "tacos de canasta" are my absolute favorite I always order minimum of 5 orders to bring back with me; and the "torta de la barda" is a must try since is a signature meal from Tampico. The owners/employees are always on top of things and making sure you don't need anything, providing quick and friendly service...read full review
