Do not come here unless you want a very very simple cake and it’s your last resort. The cake, which was supposed to be tres leches, was so dry and grainy in texture. The buttercream was also grainy. The worst part about the experience is the fact that they only take cash or Zelle!! The Zelle option doesn’t even work and when I contacted my bank they let me know it was a problem with them having too many contacts on their end. The only saving grace and the reason for my one star is the service. The young lady that helped me was very nice.

The staff at the counter are rude and make you feel rushed, almost as if they don’t want customers to return ....like they’re the only bakery in Dallas, TX. In particular, there is a girl with big fake eyelashes who clearly does not want to help customers at all. Her attitude alone is enough to make you never want to come back.
As for the cake, it doesn’t taste like cake anymore. It has a strong corn flour taste and is very dry. For the amount of money customers spend, we deserve fresh, delicious cake and respectful treatment.
Customers deserve good service, respect, and quality products. Sadly, this place delivers none of that.

Im so disappointed. My daughter started crying when she saw her birthday cake that we have ordered a week in advance. We asked for the kpop demon hunters cake with simple strikes and this is what we got. She said they couldnt do simple strikes after I was already there waiting to pick up the cake for over an hour. After I complained she took it back and tried to fix it and gave us this messy cake. Dont go here unless you want to walk out with a cheap looking cake.

I was recommended by a friend and honestly the flavors didn’t disappoint I’m not a huge fan of cakes but after ordering my daughter’s birthday cake here I was left wanting more. I didn’t get exactly what I wanted but they took time to make sure I left satisfied. It’s funny how he could tell right away I wasn’t happy with it but I’m not the type of customer that complains but the guy didn’t let me walk away until he made it better. I’m ready for my birthday in November just to buy another cake . 100/10

I’m extremely disappointed in my experience with Tango Bakery. I placed and fully paid for a custom cake order months in advance for a special event that was scheduled on a Sunday. A week before the event, I was informed the bakery would no longer be open on Sundays — but was assured that someone would be available from 9:00am to 12:00pm for order pickups.
We arrived at 9:40am and waited outside the bakery until 11:20am — nearly two hours — and no one showed up. We weren’t alone either — another couple was also outside waiting for their cake, equally frustrated. We called every phone number associated with the bakery, sent texts, and messaged across Instagram and Facebook — no response.
It wasn’t until after 12pm that I got a reply on Instagram, simply saying I’d receive a call. That never happened. I had to keep messaging just to see if anyone would actually come. Eventually, someone opened the bakery around 2:00pm — five hours later than promised. No apology, no explanation.
Our event started at 4:00pm, and we had to scramble with Dallas traffic just to make it in time. To make matters worse, the cake wasn’t even what I ordered. The flavor was okay, but I had requested a blue ribbon bow made of cloth — instead, they used the cheapest-looking plastic ribbon. It looked nothing like what I asked for. The first photo is what I received; the second is what I ordered.
This was an important event, and I had placed my trust in this bakery months in advance. The lack of professionalism, zero communication, and disregard for customer time is unacceptable. I won’t be ordering from here again. They seriously need to improve their communication and customer service.

Tango Bakery is hands down one of the best bakeries I’ve ever been to! The quality of their cakes is unmatched, and their tres leches with flan is my absolute favorite—so rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. A huge shoutout to Sergio and Adrian for their amazing help! They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Their friendly service made the experience even better. Highly recommend!
