Absolutely some of the BEST Thai food in North Texas! Basil Fried Rice w/chicken and Pad See Ew w/chicken. Both dishes were cooked perfectly!! It is definitely a hidden gem, and I will become a regular customer.

The Blue Rat, nestled on the historic downtown square, is a hidden gem. I ordered the lunch chicken pad Thai, and it was excellent—perfect spice level without being overpowering. The restaurant’s atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the service was friendly and efficient. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth a visit. I’ll be back for more!

The pineapple fried rice, the long life noodles, and the pad thai are all our go to items. No spice level is completely safe for an elderly grandparent, just in case anyone needs to know. You can order extra meat or order an xl version of most items. You can not go wrong here and my the grandmother in the family even requests it frequently. Love it!
